All those are not really infringements when out on the road. It is encouraged and enforced by the instructors to facilitate movement and ease congestions of L-plates bikes on public roads, to be able to clear two motorcycles when road is clear. Stopping behind the cracked lines helps to create a buffer zone in case the motorcycle in front rolled back.

Congrats to all those passed, ride safely. The oath may be corny, but staying alive is not.

cracked line? congrats

i believe the cracked line he is talking about is at the ssdc gate where learner bikers go out and return from public road. by right, the 2nd bike have to stop behind the cracked line while waiting for 1st bike to clear the stop line. failure to comply means an immediate failure usually. i think the tester sitting opposite the gate either never spot the mistake or he close one eye la. i rmb i failed my lesson 7 due to a similar mistake and it's not even a TP test. Anyway, congrats to those who passed!! Treasure your hard-earned licence and your life. ride safe out on the roads.

Yes, I perfectly know what he was talking about. TP are not instructors, hence what they look out for, are slightly different from what the school watches for, if you look at your score sheet.

Anyway, the cracked line is there by freak of nature, not made by the school nor request by TP testors, lol.

Anyway, so much for the cracked line, just follow the positionings and movement orders by the instructors, will surely be safe. They have seen off so many graduates. A pity, I won't be able to have my 2A at the ang mo kio centre...

Just a minor defect on the road, it's at the vehicle entrance/exit gate. You will be brief about it when u get to your road lesson next week, saturday right? :)

i hope they postpone their moving by a month or 2 then i believe i can chiong my 2A before they move to woodlands. btw, the mistake we were debating about falls under the "fail to form up correctly". it is a "circle" mistake which is an I.F.

I see, thanks for the clarification. Fortunately, I never committed that because tend to be careful by default and kept a safe distance.

Lets hope they delay the move again then, after all, they had postponed twice, from Aug 09 to March 2010.

What I meant is that he form up so close behind the first rider that his bike is like half a bike length over. Almost kissing the bike infront. The crack line is a good guide as anything beyond that mean that your bike is way too close to the person infront.

That's real close... probably due to anxiety of the test. But all ends well, all pass!

Hello guys..I graduated from SSDC in apr. Passed TP at 1st attempt. 2nd last rider. Very memorable :D

Congratulations, so what bike are you getting?

congratulations to everyone who passed today! its time to go look for your first bike :)

i went with the pillion riding group after i passed in july. it looks like the building is progressing very well and it is unlikely that they will postpone the shift, in my opinion. anyway, its not that far away for me since i'm at upper thomson road only. but for some others it will be much further i suppose :)
