ya...if you wanna get a TW can talk to me.

wah...i was looking forward to going on the pillion riding cos its first time riding on the road. gave me a lot of confidence. unfortunately we were not on expressway. rather we went from SSDC@YCK to SSDC@Woodlands and back. was nice journey except the person who pillioned me almost gave me a heart attack! hahaha!

of course i didn't :) my riding is so smooth :) hahahaha!

seriously, he had trouble with getting enough power in first gear so was revving super high without releasing the clutch enough for the gear to bite. so the bike move slower than most people walk. then suddenly set to 2nd gear, still high rev, and release clutch all the way...super jerk there...then corner without brakes...it was an experience to remember!

i won't encourage freshly graduated riders with their new bike to go onto the expressway yet. 1st of all, on the expressway vehicles travelling alot faster and there is no room for a slight mistake, a mistake could mean your life. secondly, you just got a bike and you are strangers with it, you need to spend more time with her and get to know her, if u know what i mean. oh yeah, i don reccommend having a pillion either until at least u are familiar with your bike, its handling at different speeds, its behavior. even now, i prefer riding alone w/o a pillion. i believe for most bikes and their riders, if you have a pillion, it feels very very different compared to when you are riding alone.

Hey bro thanks. I just got a RS125. Hopefully I can master it well :) Don't think I will be riding it on expressway and planning to take it to track. I think that is the safe place to sharpen up my riding skill . I do miss SSDC alot

there's alot to learn to in the driving centers..

there's more to learn on the real road...

going for my lesson 6 on wed, can i check for the test route, the only check back LEFT is if you stop at the U turn area at junction of AMK ave 5. the rest are all check back right, including coming in and out from the test center?

Posted

That was what I did for the test ;) I guess should be correct

I think this is so because the U-turn is the only one when you're making in the right-lane making a turn with a central divider. All the other right-turns should be ones with a continuous white line on you right. As the rule goes, check back on the opposite side of the kerb, e.g. kerb on left check back right.

Correct me if I'm wrong!

Class 2B

FW TA200

have to agree with you bro..But when i collected my bike the day after i passed, the only way for me to get home is through CTE then TPE. Felt abit nervous but just applied what i've learnt and just stay within the speed limit. Besides,i can't speed since bike is brand new and therefore have to run in. :cheeky:

ur right there... :thumb:

all left turn check back right, right turn without kerb check back right, right turn with kerb check back left.

when along amk ave 6, as long as ur in the queue waiting to u-turn, always check back left, since ur right side is kerb... remember to check right blind spot before u-turning as long as ur not the first biker waiting...

your check back right refers to right blind spot before turning?
