You will be too tired to ride back to CCK and way too dangerous.

As for the time to pass, depending if you can cheong few lessons per day. Current TP date is close to late Sep/early Oct I think. You might be able to make it. Then again??? Pick up riding skill or just to get the paper?

well you cant, the advise is not to ride to camp.

u park ur bike there 1 week at pasir ris...by the time you go out it may not be there liao lor

all army/navy personnel need to attend defensive riding course before you are allowed to ride to camp.

and there will be different rules and regulation for trainees

Posted

wait for you to pass out then ride.. last time im in BMTC i dont ride as a trainee, but once you post out and attached to a unit you can, but you must pass defensive riding first.

in a nutshell, trainee = cannot, pass out have an appointment = can

hope this helps

If you are in a unit..

And rmb to learn in SSDC..let SAF pay!

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

ya,dun ride n park at pasir ris

it is a requirement for all NSF to have defensive riding to ride to camp. if you dont have, the MP/RP has every right not to allow your bike inside the camp to park.

anyway trainee wise even with defensive riding cert cannot ride lol but you can take them at any driving centers.

also if you NSmen, different story altogether. hahaha MP/RP dont really disturb NSmen who ride into camp.

*also you need to consider factors like how much stuff you bringing to camp. if you have your duffel bag with your entire barang barang etc to carry, riding a bike is kinda near to impractical :)

Its possible to carry duffel bag with your full equipment and ride... try before o_O No defensive = no riding to camp, but does'nt mean you can't park nearby... Last time I also park nearby You can ride to pasir ris and park there, but not to the SFT. you can try parking @ pasir ris park To ride to camp, your S1 (Manpower officer) needs to approve, he don't approve you ll suck thumb. Trainee usually can't ride to camp and all that kind of thing... so in SAF you're a liability if you ride bike so trainees very hard to get permission to ride to camp

Dun rush to finish all the lessons, the waiting time to TP is long enough for you to learn, consolidate, lessons after lessons.

true, last reservist i tried carrying back all my barang barang took me 2 trips, 1 on the night before out processing and the other on the next day.... wearing 4, sbo and field pack and riding a sp is not fun let me assure you....

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap
