Make sure Task Force Malaya survives its first mission then I'm sure they'll be addicted to the wonders of Bolehland just as you predict :3

I have been to JB quite a number of times on a bike. Don't like going on bike haha.

I got my RD125LC assembled yesterday. Havent started the bike. There is a tweeny water leak which I can fix with a new head gasket I just bought. Got to fit back the exhaust, bleed the oil pump, top up radiator water, kick like mad to start it. Also need to sort out my brake lights. Spent a large part of yesterday trying to solve it but cant. Brake switches front and rear are new. Anyone good with electrics?

Great news! The bike does look incredible from the MMS you sent me. We are going to conduct a low to moderate speed training convoy near your area this Friday night. If the LC can awaken by then it would be totally epic giving you an honour guard :D

Today there was an awesome gear shopping session and we tested a Suzuki K6 as a convoy leader, which worked surprisingly well!

RD125LC update. I got the brake lights to work, somewhere along the wire harness, the yello wire which joins the dark-green/yello wire is shorted. So I ran a new brake line. Bike starts, but will not idle. going to attempt to fix it tonight. You guys have a great ride. See you next week (hopefully!)

This ride made me feel that i still dunno Singapore that well , hope to follow further outings like this , Its really a good outing which makes u be more aware of road conditions . Friendly peeps make this outing an enjoyable ride! A lot of knowledge exchanged between the group. Its really an ideal outing for those who just got their bike license!!

I thought it was creative to bring the two SPs along as well as you had your own little platoon to follow the route with :3

Event summary:

Route - Marsiling Drive to Tuas South + "targets of opportunity"

* Kranji Gudang, Need for Speed Underground Factory, Singapore Shooting Club, Bricklands Road and the secret beach at Tuas South Shipyards.

Distance - 80km +++ (due to Malaysian trip by @tankee1981)

Number of bikes - 16

It was a route improvised as we went along but lol it turned out to be spectacular, thanks in part to everyone's superb teamwork.

To seal in the awesomeness for all eternity we have a little video of the convoy launch points:

The LC is alive! Bike starts, runs well. Next to do is to get a new license plate, inspection, insurance and road tax. Next project -> Honda Rebel 125!

Excellent news! The old timers and the young at heart are going to be thrilled seeing the old little pocket rocket in action next week :3

wad happen to the friday night bikers .. haha

We always were Friday Night bikers - I've been advertising for FnB for almost the whole of this year at my own expense and also training up Class 2B riders for overseas trips to add to their future "arsenal" of riders.

Since I didn't receive any recognition for the above contributions I saw fit to ensure that the riders who experimented and developed convoy tactics with me get the credit they deserve... they now lead their own vehicle "platoons", organise local and overseas operations and continue to introduce new and veteran riders alike to a whole new concept of motoring culture:

One that emphasises mutual respect, professional "driving" and most importantly, open communications.

The best way to market the above strategy for the group, and to protect all our riders' interests, is to do our own thing at our own time :)

It's my own experience that my self-financed efforts are mostly ignored by the biking community at large, that I don't mind at all - we take care of our own people and give them the chance to grow their own uniquely Singaporean talent... free from forum politics and harassment from 'naysayers' :3

wahah~ Hope to see your LC soon ~ vintage ftw~

On a side note, saw a CBX400 (freaking rare vintage bike) lying at sin boon motor. Sadly, they don't want to sell T_T

Give up on getting expensive bike like monster 400 already.

Now looking at Suzuki Bandit ._. Though I'm getting some phobia of old bikes .. because problem always find me, as previous owners never take care.

I couldnt cold start my SP at all last few days .. went to check my overflow and wash carb .

Now it runs more silently and better response .

Adventure.

If all goes according to plan, I will be taking it out for a spin on friday. My carb settings are stock, but the air fliter is not. There isnt an original one so I had to cut up a sponge for it. I'll run that for a while and check if I am running rich or lean.

Depending on how much money I am going to spend on the Rebel 125, I might just let the LC go ( for a suitable price ).

Prawning -

Right now Lez and others are doing recon missions to various local prawning sites. I will probably pick the most ulu site in the middle of a forest but who knows, there might be better places. Maybe PM me your facebook ID, I will add you to the discussion group. Would not want to miss out interested parties like yourself.

We will be busy with convoy training + private trading on Friday & as @Lexanez says, short-range Malaysian trips on Saturday and Sunday.
