If u ask me.. I think Vietnam plays better football than Thailand,watched the other 1st leg semi on TV. but who cares.. Sin VS THAI or Sin vs VIET... we are in the Final.. Lets just give our team the best support that they can get when they play at Home.. I think now if wanna buy ticket must queue damn early. And hope to see the whole stadium filled with red. Like in 2004, 99.99999% people wear red..

Last nights match, 80% attacks was mostly by the Malaysia sides.

Singapore was very very lucky to win. My 2 cents.

Its really yar 2 cents worth ONLY! guess u might have been watching EPL too much. Its abt time u understood the difference in asean standard. Tell me something abt luck? unbeaten in 13 asean matches? sg mus be really having some luck eh? Scoring back equalisers in both legs of semis?

if its true dat the first leg of the final is to played on a wednesday nite at kallang,i think a number of fans have to rush to the stadium after work n some might missed it due to work commitments..some might even want to stay home to watch it on tv..

since the last tiger cup our lions having roaring and taking on tougher challenges, jus when i thought soccer here died in the last 90s n early in this decade but i think our coach is doing wonders with this team.

 

I won't deny tht our "foreigners" didn't had a part to play. wat foreigners?? They are singaporeans too now. Where our forefathers came frm? They too were foreigners too.

i agree..we cannot gauge our national team peformance to wat we see week in week out in the EPL..those are of a higher standard..im not saying our team cannot produce high standard football but it takes a massive effort not only from FAS but also from the whole nation..so lets be realistic..as long as the team works hard and play honest football,i will support them..

 

watching the game last nite,the Chinese guy,Jiayi,really caught my attention..i think he really got a sweet foot..nice to see him taking the set pieces for spore..the defence is steady but sumtimes tends to lose out when speedy strikers take them on..midfield is ok..i like the attacks coming from the right wing..n lastly the strikers should shoot on sight..

Sg played well last nite. They way they move the ball ard n kept possesion. I simply loved their fighting spirit when they were a goal down. They did couple of gd over laps on the right wing too. n the right winger how he most of the time went past his marker n making those penatrating runs into the penalty box when the ball was on the left wing or a for through balls coming frm the centre.

I watched the match yesterday on TV up until extra time. Just as the penalty shoot out was about to begin, I accidentally dozed off. Good to know that Singapore won...

its confirmed..final would be against the Thais..i watched their game against Vietnam n i muz say dat they r a very good team..their num 2,7 and 14 is really very good..can see dat they are very fast attacking from their right side..hopefully spore can cope wif the Thais..

 

we should play a very compact game..try to take advantage of dead-ball situations..their left back also looks suspect..man for man,we will definately lose out on speed n techniques but if we play as one unit,chasing all loose balls n covering for each other,we stand a very good chance.

 

i remembered a european final between france n italy..france have a strong n attack minded team whereas italy had to defend for almost the whole game..but in the end italy won dat game..so not neccesarily the better team will win.

 

spore central midfield must really shut out the number 7 player..he's really very good on the ball and as well to look out for attacks coming from their right wing..employ a fast winger on our left wing to neutralise their attack so they also will not dare to attack our left too much..juz my humble point of view..

the right winger of thailand no 14 Suchao is indeed a threat...i watched the game against Vietnam he dribbled past 2-3 players very easily...the no 2 Suree mention by mat-vtech is a right back if i'm not wrong...his overlapping and crossing is quite good...so basically the right side of thailand is our main threat...
