Favourite colour for S4

I am getting an old S4 VTec I that has a worn paint job.

 

Its a 2000 model with only 10340km on it. Is that sort of mileage believeable?

 

Was thinking of painting it matt black but was told the resale value would drop and

that paint shop would have problems sticking the decals on.

 

Any comments or advise please.

Honda produces S4 for 2 major market; Japan Domestic and Export Sets.

 

The thing is, yellow, blue and maroon is the standard colour for S4 export units. They come straight from the Honda Japan production line and to markets like Singapore, Europe and America.

 

The regular colour like black and gray are for the Honda Japanese Domestic market.

 

That is to say, if you are buying from Boon Siew, you only get yellow, blue and maroon.

 

But there are also people who 'parallel import' from the Japan domestic market to bring down the cost, hence you get the other colours. And from the domestic market, you can request for special colours.

 

Not sure if I am confusing you people.

Hmm.. I'm hoping to get a black colour s4 next time.. however, I know it's a silly qn but parallel import and the direct import r the same things rite? No difference between parallel import and direct import rite?

 

But then how come parallel import is slightly cheaper than direct import 1s?

I like gun metal too.white is also nice.it's unique.but i feel in general, Spec 3 looks nice with any colour simply becoz of its design.it's very,shall i say,aerodynamic and modern and fierce.why,even when it's filthy and muddy and not been washed for weeks(thanks to the rains) it still looks good!
