HI Guys, I am intending to buy the bike FZ1 but i do not know what is the difference between these two bikes besides the design of course. Which is of better choice?? I am intending to make use of the bike for touring maybe to KL or maybe even Thailand. Any advice on which is of better choice of these two bikes?

Appreciate any advice bikers.

Thanks a lot,

Enthusiastic Biker.

If i am not wrong, the differences are only cosmetic. They are practically the same bike on the inside.

if you wanna tour, get the "s" model. the naked version look nice and fierce, but damn tiring to fight against the wind blast on your way to thailand.

definetly get the S model, no dout about it. I'm ridding the N model, cz seldom ride up north.

Yar, got review from my friend who is riding N model, its not a good choice to go high speed esp going touring. As for S model review were great for touring.

M riding a s model...rode up to Thai...

Great bike for touring. As they say, the naked version will subject you strong winds when you go at high speed!

However, IMO, the Naked version is comestically nicer to look at.

Your choice..

Differences

FZ1S - Comes with the half fairing. Preferred if you want some rain/ wind protection for the long rides north.

Also the bike comes with a protruded grab rail for the pillion. See the rear section of the bike next to the pillion seat, you will see the grab rails:

The naked version only got something like a strap across the pillion seat.

Also, a top box and sides boxes will look good on the faired version and for touring, you might want to have those boxes. :)

And lastly, always buy the ABS version. ;)
