it's right next to a shell station.

from clementi road, take the new fly-over towards bukit timah. Turn left at the junction with the fire-station, and continue down that road. The shell station and autobacs will be on the other side of the road, so you will have to make a u-turn.

just use one horn n plug the original connectors onto the new horn that's it.

it's loud enough to frighten yourself too. :cheeky:

that will work, but the regular horn switch is not designed for such electrical loads (>6A). Do so at your own risk!

ya..not adviseable to connect it direct to the original horn connectors...i add in a 10amp fuse inbetween the batt and the relay....

Anyone explain why is the stock relay sucky and Borsch much better? Something concrete to substantiate the fact. It's always pretty pointless to say this is good that is bad without saying how good and how bad they are in comparison...

I've been using the stock relay for abt 4 mths and it hasn't failed.

I think the problem with the stock relay is that it isn't as waterproof as the Bosch one. However, if you install the relay under your seat and place it in a plastic bag, that really isn't a problem.

- You have two earth wires, one from the horns, and one from the relay. Don't connect the earth back to the (-) of the battery. Connect the earth wire to the nearest metal part of the frame. Keep the wire short.

- The fuse should be placed as practical as possible, closest to the battery

The internal connection of the relay coil is not good, leads to intermittent contact after awhile. A 5 min soldering job (if u have the proper equipment and skill) will make the stocker bombproof. To date, I have done this for myself and 3 other friends, all working fine. Mine has been working great for about a year.

won't do any harm to my switch cos my original horn uses 15 amp n this stebel uses

two horns maybe will overloaded n burn the switch so check your horn amp load first.

anyway the box specified

There is no soldering map, u just have to open up the relay and fill the 2 joints that connect to the relay coil with solder. As the wire is very fine, the spot small and the housing is plastic, u have to have a good iron, hot tip and steady hands. I never did buy a bosch relay so I can't say where's a good place to buy.
