i juz bought agv gp-pro clear visor from the shop opposite berseh food centre (go figure) for $40. opening price was $50. i think i kena chop $10 coz my fren said he bought $30 oni. kns!

The black surface of the neck roll of my agv stealth helmet started peeling off bits of black stuffs after around 3 years of use....

pls spray some silicone grease (food grade) on the surfaces, that'll prevent peeling for a while.

Bought my AGV S4-SV helmet yesterday for $380 at Regina. Its a great helmet!

 

Pros

Very comfy inner cushion padding

Visor snaps in place completely and no air will leak in when riding

Quite well ventilated (was wearing a balaclava and did not feel any heat/warmth)

Lightweight

Comes with internal sun visor (removes the need for u to put on sunshades on a sunny day!)

Micrometric buckle adjuster (easy to clip in/out when wearing gloves)

Looks damn garang!

 

Cons

Blocks wind noise so well i didnt realise i was speeding

Micrometric buckle adjustment means its NOT PSB approved.

 

Overall, quite a nice helmet so far for the 2 days im riding with it. I dun care about PSB approval. im sure if it was put to the PSB test it will far exceed the safety requirements as compared to those LAB 'PSB approved' helmets. Not trying to insult that particular brand of helmets ah, but i honestly feel that its not safe.

 

Btw, i'm using this as my daily riding helmet.

Haha! Cos before this i using inferior fullface. at 100km/h the wind noise quite bad so i know im at the speed limit.

I'm used to the noise level so i can gauge how fast i.m going base on how loud the noise is.

 

Hehe. Anyway, update; the AGV s4 helmet does have windnoise ah. above 120+km/h. Before anyone flame me, i rode that fast on a long straight stretch along NSH ok, not on SG roads.
