try ask a thai why phantom not popular in thailand.

asked one thai b4 n he say bad motosai, no thais will buy it.

cost too much monies for repair, tyre skip, eat too much fuel.

can understand why coz he's comparison is kubs (it's their country most popular ride).

I'd recommend ta 200 which I myself am riding..hmm some would want more power and if can tahan the slightly more maintainence cost then go for 150 cc phantom lo..just that I find my phantom u-turn a bit big sorry cuz I new so u turn I don't dare go down so much hehe..wave also good, spark or x1 nice too.. I tried them but when i wanted to buy I see the price and the other stuffs my dad chose Phantom for me :/

in your choice mate (: ride safely on whichever bike..btw dragstar is daelim brand? forgive me for my ignorance lol

With all due respect to the moderators of Cruisers, but i who is an ex-phantom rider must speak my opinion of such comments.

 

Valarie is a phantom rider, i have no idea why someone who rides a phantom can come out saying his bike outlook sucks, its really befuddles me...i mean if phantom does really look that bad in his opinion, why in the first place is he still riding a such a bike? Won't he be better off riding another bike which he thinks looks better and kooler?

 

Even tho the forum is a place that we all have freedom of speech and he is free to say what he feels, but this forumer coming to cruiser section to degrade phantom is something that is being frown upon.

yea lol some like Valerie and myself find the original nice at first then when they ride they wanna mod here and there fierce fierce look..wanna look fierce sound fierce lo..haha just like some sport bike etc..some phantom like madman also mod till fierce man...whooosh! mine still in stock condition till after CNY when I think I got enough ang pao money for Mods then I start doing some too

My personal comments of the bike which I am riding and paying proved to be a great pain to some members in here. Feel free to comment more abt my future statements in this forum.It is a fact that stock Phantom bike dont look better than a stock Daystar. If not,why the hassle of add ons and accessories for that Phantom bike?

stock phantom looks impressively great, and i love stock phantoms over extreme modded ones. besides, daystar never appealed to me before, but it doesnt mean others do not appreciate daystar.

Never buy something that you don't like... It will only be dumb to buy something that I don't like, because you don't even know how to defend the thing you spent on.

 

My point again, aesthetic appeal may differ from people to people, but what ultimately turns the head is the exclusivity and by majority consentment. The reason why Phantom was so popular at one point of time that SBF even opened up a Phantom Knights thread was due to its unprecedented beauty in its class.

 

And ofcourse, Daystar's performance can never be compared to the Phantom.
