Is it genuine BMW, went planet Ah Chong show me GPR grips when I asked for BMW grips, told me its the same. Did not prucahse as Ah Chong told me cannot fit after checking my original grip.

Also, you are able to purchase it from PML, Performance Motors Limited.

 

BMW parts #32721458395 left, #32721458396 right. Cheaper as compared to M-technik but you gotta DIY these grips.

fyi there is an "imitation" GPR version thats cheaper. just changed mine at taihin for $12. i rmb i chged at uniquea few years back for my previous bike as well. ard that price oso. feels pretty close to the real stuff.

fyi, just walk to PML 2nd floor and get from the counter upstairs. 22 bucks when i bought in March. good stuff.

I believe when u mean by bmw grip is the one which has a wider diameter at the outer handlebar end and make up with multiple ring layers. Not sure about other bike but to change r1200gs "original"grip to "BMW grip it will take quite an effort and is labour intensive as the inner handlebar layer has to be shave off before fitting the BMW grip. Pml price only include parts and no labour charge yet.
