I'm riding a CB400 SPEC II, was wondering will high end bar ends like rizoma, motivation etc bar ends make a significant difference to my riding comfort? What are the differences between those normal and cheap bar ends as compared to high end ones?

if you're talking about heavy bar ends then yes they are useful but you need to get those really heavy ones to cancel out the vibrations.

doesn't really matter cheapo or not as long as its heavy.

many "aftermarket" brands claim hours of R&D technology behind theirs, in the end if you get heavy el' cheapo ones they work just the same.

incidentally, i've got one set of freaking heavy ones in pure stainless (honda bikes only) up for sale at 45.00

cheers

looking for drz parts, any parts will do!

yeah, heavier ones will cancel out the vibration.

my bike came with the cheapo plastic bar ends, when i ride, it was making my hands numb.

after i switch to the heavy ones, it really cancelled them out and i dont have numb hands anymore. and they looks good as well.

I still prefer motovation anytime! Value for money:) But then again, rizoma's balancer looks better with their handlebar and grip. ( The whole set )

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Not sure if it's just me, but previously using a motivation bar end on my 400, it doesnt seemed to work that well.

Motivation and Rizoma is still pretty light. There're some cheapo ones that are really heavy and gets the job done.

Or put those oversized ones from scooters like Paggion x9 LOL! Really heavy~

Adventure.

I think it would matter on what bike you ride.

I dont see a need for my gsxr 1000. But a necessity for my cruisers.

bought risoma bar end weight before, i muz say its jus the branding that i paid for. inside of it is so hollow and makes my bike tremble even worse than a stock one.

imo bar end weight really helps alot with the trembling, especially heavy ones. i changed my handle bar to a 3rd party but it doest come with a bar end weight, it trembles bad, went to ahboy and bought a silver colour and heavy one at that. it cost around 20sgd. but its worth every dollar. the bar end weight really helps alot. so i suggest TS to get a bar end weight frm ahboy, like mine if u want!! cheers

Just in case, get one correctly for your bike, usually go by your bike brand. Not all bar ends are interchangable.

something like this size should helps a lot.

heavy bar ends will definitely help in comfort. unless you like your hands to vibrate all the time. all the while ise heavy bar ends until recently i changed my clipon to aftermarket ones and the heavy bar ends did not fit. i had to tahan until sat to go get motovation heavy bar ends.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
