did u open up ur fuel tank to see if it's really empty??? if it's on reserve.. u won't b able to see any petrol at all..

 

oh. when my needle is at reserve, there is still some petrol inside. which means my petrol gauge not accurate ah??????????!!!!!!!!!

yar.. cuz ur main tank cannot nv b 6.75litres.. should b ard 10 to 11 litres.. wat i suggest is to zero ur mileage at ur speedo when u pump a full tank.. turn ur fuel knob to 'ON'.. run until ur engine stalls den see how far u clocked.. aft tat turn to reserve n go to the petrol station to pump.. u should get ard 10 litres of petrol..

is lidat 1 la lols.. sure canot 100% de.. KR's fuel gauge also special, bike straight and sideways the sensore sense it differently. tilt left abit more accurate, straight drop abit, right drop even more lols.

u try put side stand down let bike lean 1 side 1st. the sensore might not be ablt to sense it properly while riding.. the petrol level will be diff and riding cause it to shake around too. like wad other says, ride until dry.. den on reserved =)

when u pump, the engine must be off. am i right to say.. so its not an issue...

but before u move off, turn to on lor.. if u leave at reserve, then u run and run .. till petrol finish dry up, then hon kan liao, no petrol, even though u wan to make use of the reserve..

 

i always play with reserve on my ex sp...

 

now dun dare with my current one.. coz i kana played out by 400cc..Cbr.. haha

it's best to buy frm private.. cuz though it's my friend.. but it's still a bikeshop.. all the nonsense starts to arise aft u confirm the deal.. i wouldn't wanna comment much but i would advise to save more money to get bikes frm forum..

actually not able 2 make it reli accurate cos ur speedo meter cable is connect to ur front wheel instead of ur engine... so the trip meter, speedo ect... will be slightly inaccurate.... no worries la.. ride long u will soon get used to ur own bike... and try not 2 reply 2 much on the petrol meter...

any sp riders stay around tampines st 91 the block 915 coffee shop there and just got an sp? happened to saw a quite nice sp which just park there ytd and today. dunno is just got bike or wat. if u are the one maybe can meet up. the sp is black and red de. and one eye covered up one

i finally got my motorbike le! hahaha i am an SP rider too! but still quite scary la. sometimes at traffic light i still stall! haha.

 

 

quite malu-ating though!

 

 

but anyway i'm still glad to have finally owned a bike.hahah

 

congrats. starting is like that becos u haven get used to it yet. but after u get used to it u will be like some ppl in this forum already. keep race one. ppl like shyorange and hendra. haha. enjoy your new toy and remember to ride safe.

different rider, different bike, different need for speed.

 

read, listen, try out yourself.. then find out wad u like. be it 2t mixture or lowering of fork etc... :angel:

u before reserve 140km, then how abt tank? before reserve is how many litre?

 

Mine before reserve is 6.75litres, can go 2ookm with that.

 

Lol. Mine ride until need to turn reserve on , only 140km.

 

Open up still have petrol inside VERY visible. Sure its DRY when left reserve?

 

Go pump back my tank (not including reserve) max only 7.8 litre.

 

My FC is totally screwed :giddy:

first of all, i did not and do not plan to claim i'm an expert or anything.

 

why do you want so much 2t in the first place?

 

too much 2t leans out the a/f mixture. the quantity of 2t needed also depends on the quality of the 2t being used. fully syn/semi syn/castor based?

 

tested by who? overseas race teams? who are their engines built by and how often the engines are stripped for rebuilding? are our SPs maintained the same way as well?

 

i 2nd this.. ex-SP rider.. seriously.. juz stick to the 2T pump will do.. too much 2T causes lean A/F ratio.. n that can do sum serious damage..

names of famous racers spread fast.. even the design, plate no. are spread together.. so when u r riding n another SP juz blow at u.. u know it's time to race.. haha..

Em... how about u try to pum it slowly.. normally when I saw the fuel is full, i try to pum in slowly.. still can get about 1.3 lit more.
