I'm planning on going on a 1K km trip within a day or 2, sounds crazy, thats why I need to know the performance of this little bike. By the way, does it drain alot of 2T when you are travelling at constant speed?

Cheers

oh..

so in this case you are sayin somewhere in the cooling system is choked and coolant unable to go back to the reservoir?

then say so earlier lar ? haiyoh ..

and i dont think the thermometer will be located at the top of the radiator?

most likely bottom of the radiator.. so chances for takin temp for air is very unlikely dun u think so ?

:pity:

for some bike, a device on the radiator wif wire attach to it is the thermometer..

i forget located at which side of the radiator.. u check is it at the bottom of the radiator..

the water flow from the radiator to the thermostat to the engine to the pump and back to the radiator..

for that case is not choke.. something else.. got to do wif the crack of the reservoir..

:)

it depends on ur 2t valve.how big is the 2t pump opening.if too big ur 2t drain fast, power nt there.too small power more but piston at risk.it really depends bah

if u keep going wif the RC valve on, it will consume 2t rather fast..

i had organise trip to genting highlands wif sp joining.. total distance abt 700km..

with no problem at all..

but the rider use up abt 2 bottles of 2t..

:)

2 bottle in 700km? I haven't got a chance of travelling 100km to 110km constant with this bike down here, so I can't judge the RPM it will be on during that speed. But this thing don't seems to drink alot of 2T as I'm into my 4th tank soon and the 2T in the reservoir still seems quite full :thumb:

1k in a day? thats really crazy. but i believe its possible.

good luck!

if you wanna carry out trips like that i advise you to have some basic engine-maintaining skills. bring along a piston and block if possible.

and of course all your tools

The street is for show, the track is for go. Put up or shut up

Yeah it's rather crazy to do it on a small bike, have to think alot of "twice" before I really do it. Bringing a piston and a block..... more add on weight to my travel leh. Anyway thanks for all the feedback I've got from the SPer :thumb:

Have to think about carrying clothings, and other necessities. Coz I'm travelling alone, even have to carry additional petrol incase no kiosk for long distance. o_O

Anyway still planning on it. :thumb:

Especially when it's long distance, the more I wouldn't wanna stress it in anyway, dun wanna risk towing it back. =) and one more thing, the bike is quite light, the cross wind down here is a pain in ars sometimes. Few mths back, there are wind speed recorded over 100kph in Melbourne. =\

SP bros,

I just saw a SP rider nearly buang cos his chain just dropped out. Luckily he managed alrite. He was in a shock but he is safe. His chain gave way and simply dropped out. I stopped and ask his welfare. He was fine. I offer to give some solutions as his friends came to help also. I have to move on from there. I hope we all check our chains!
