hey I will be getting 2b soon and thinking of getting 2nd hand SP as my first bike.

but just curious, how often does NSR150 SP give problems? like how often need to visit shop to repair stuff etc?

and i heard from someone e-braking in SP bikes are different from normal bikes. is it true?

sp consumption one of the worst in 2b imo

see the previous owner and how he/she take care of the bike.... if they bother to replace some of the wear and tear parts then should have minimal problems, just do regular oil change and use good 2t.... for a 2b 2-stroke bike i think it gives relatively few problems that can be solved quite affordable, unlike bigger CC bikes that cost more to repair and replace parts....

sp is 10 year old bike, so cant expect factory fresh condition... wear and tear is inevitable...

ignore the question the above! found the answer while reading the older posts in this thread haha.

1) depends on previous owner... if bike is in good condition then you wont get to be well acquainted with your mechanic.... considering its a 10 year old bike, expect to visit the workshop at least a few times due to wear and tear of old parts....

2) e-braking different as in how? as long as you remember what you learned in school (dont jam brake), you will be fine....

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

Chain and spRocket got alot of type... Cheap one is 60-80... 180 one is double Oring different which can last longer and dun need always go tighten, if u use the cheap one and u always wack the chain can spoil within months... Recommended to use oring one
