i live serangoon ley

U got ur own transport so not a problem, although its consdier far for U, blackheart (serangoon), sarukia (hougang), SchiX (tampines?) they also came along to wash, regardless it was sure fun that so many of us washing the bike, we also help each other to wash also.

Maybe next time we org one quite centralise to everyone then all wash together (bubble party !! JK.. ) One thing for sure be prepare to get ur hands dirty.

Bgoys the guys who have change the piston ring mostly due to the soils that clog around it causing some friction, so its best to change it at that time to prevent further damage. So far the JB mech handling of the bikes is almost the same as mech in Singapore main difference in the price and they don';t carry alot of original parts (especially Honda SP).

I'm still skeptical about the improvement on the bikes after servicing but I have to agreed that the price is ridiciously attracting. Maybe U wana consider bringing ur bike down to service one of this days.

yea i noe

Hmm..heres how i usually check my bike

For sprocket: check teeth, if its too sharp/blunt, den its worn, time to change

For chain: see whether can pull the chain off the sprocket teeth anot, if u can, den its too loose, go tighten...if tighten aredi and also apply enuff lube still like very loose, time to change chain

Any visible signs of cracks/distortions are obvious signs of need to change

Hope this helps  :goodluck:

sprocket: wheezing sound coming from chain area at expressway speeds, sharpened teeth

chain: when u cannot tighten anymore, damaged o-rings

change them as a set n maintain them well can last u for 18 mths man
