Guys, any of you out there got any tips about how to maintain your bike when you go overseas for a week?

for a week i don't think you have to do anything to it. i will just keep the bike fuel tank full, lock it up with additional lock and cover it if it is not in shelter car park.

I would pump a full tank of petrol, Rub axe oil on my seats, lube my chain and cover it with canvas,

1 week should not cause any problems.

But if your battery is old and you have an alarm going, it might just drain the battery.

Cover the bike, put a disc lock (with disc lock reminder).

 

For much longer periods, the tyres could develop a flat spot. But 1 week is really nothing. :D

Maybe switch your petrol cock to off instead of on if you have... Anyway 1 week still ok la... If someone at home just ask them help you start bike and run for 5 mins every 2-3 days...
