I have for sale here a good condition 2003 Hornet 250, rare JDM bike, amazing handling, great alternative to s4.

Has single monoshock. Heart comes from a cbr250rr engine that revs till 18k rpm!!

Beautiful sounding engine with rare gear driven cams, similar to vfr/rvf.

Does not use timing chain so no need for chain adjustment. Great FC i get more than 30km/l.

 

Reasons why i love the bike:

I4 250 cc - nowadays most 250s are all single cylinder to save co production costs.

Gear Driven Cams - few bikes comes with gear driven cams, it saves on chain maintenance, and usually only on bike bikes like vfrs +rc51 and for wsb aprilia used them before getting ban due to helping them "win". Also honda has stopped using them on the latest vfrs as they say due to increasing noise regulation zzz but i find the whirring noise fantastic. especially cool on a small 250 unheard of.

Tyre size- 180/55 rear bigger than s4 160. 180s like a supersport 600, biggest rear for any 250.

Single rear shock- compared to a S4 which uses dual shocks this would help in handling.

Weight - lighter than an S4, S4 has 168kg dry - Hornet250 149kg.

Revs - till 18k stock

Cool Side mounted exhaust.

 

FW8810J nice no plate! *COE ending on 23/06/13 if no one takes by then ill just renew and continue to enjoy it.

Just Changed Rear Tyre bridgestone s23- 04/12/12

Balanced Carb - 10/12/12

Changed Mirrors CNC black mirror 20/11/12

Changed Rear Shock Adjust. Showa

25/12/12

 

Exterior Cond - 9.5/10

Internal Cond - 9/10

Thx guys for the positive comments! @Ardian yes some people do, but just to get double disc front, i dont think it needs two discs though can stop pretty well alr. haha
