i confirm saw him put in the new air filter cos he threw out the old one before picking up a new one from the shelf.

 

Jettings i've already checked leh... recently when i washed my carbs (2 wks ago) i had it re-tuned and sync-ed... so it shouldn't be that problem... any other possibilities?

if open vtec, about 300km before reserve. never open vtec, about 345km before reserve

I got my highest record just now 380+km reserve start blinking a bit. My style of riding 3-4k change gear speed about 70-80km/hr sometime 90-100km/hr

Pump at JB,averge speed 80-100 KM/HR , 380km-390km /19 litre till .

3k-4k change gears quite nice when no one else on the road, or moving off from traffic lights when you are occupying a car's space. But when in between vehicles at the front of traffic lights, 5k-6k better. 3k to 4k they are a little close..

true.. if there's a car behind u, 3k to 4k might be road hogging..

 

depends on the performance of the car too laa.. i.e. cabs - good to siam one side, let them go first unless u're riding a gilera..

hi bros.about S4PB1 fuel consumption.i guess the gauge is not accurate coz even it touched to red color mark i stil cant ride up to 250km before reserve.it that normal for PB1?i m fresh for this model:(

yeah... the fuel guage to accurate... it normal. wow fuel comsumption less than 250km. mine hit more than 330 .

My PB1 also hit around 330km when reached e red mark. Change gear 3-4k rpm, riding max 100km/h in e xpressway n normal max 80km/h. Fuel consumption around 21-22km/litre an tats e best i can get so far..

guys vtec1 do not have reserve switch? new to cb400 family.. then when do we know it is using reserve?
