Sorry off topic is jetting require for e full system n where u did ?

Im quite keen to get a yoshi fire spec full system for my spec 3 but afraid it might affect e fc.

Im using rear sprox 42 and used standard headers with bf endcan, engine stock. Went 160-180 on the NSH. Managed to get 210km before my reserve starts to blink. Now using 4-1 headers havent tested yet. Dude 38 is way to small. Your moving off will suffer. Rear 42 already suffering bro.

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

thnx fr d info bro...but fr my riding style is 80% touring...so i dun think 38 is a prob...almost every week KL-Spore-KL...between 3000km to 6000km per mth...

My idea is to change sprocket size 520, not standard 525...cz 520 got one set RKM...i can get cheaper at Sentul,KL (so called motorbike shop heaven) as RKM is made in M'sia....my Yamaha FZ150i also change sprocket at Sentul...Heavy Duty RKM Chain&sprocket 428 set fr my FZ150i only RM55...

I gave up to O-ring chain to my FZ150i as it last very short (12,000km) altho i owez lube it every 300km :( it was DID...so i give up on DID now...better RKM dat i'm using now at my FZ150i..can last more thn 20,000km as i expect fr my FZ150i as i lube every 200km...

Hi Guys,

I am riding a S4 Spec 1.

Just wanna check, is it true that the FC will be lower if I dont ride often? I recently got a 20.7km/L from my full tank. Haven been riding often though. Its like once every 1-2 days interval, and i notice the fuel gauge is lower when i came back from an overseas trip of 4 days. So wondering is it normal to have fuel leaking slowly?

I also heard that older S4 cannot pump good petrol like 98 or V-power? Cuz the petrol chemicals are too fine for the engine. 95 will achieve a better mileage?

I'm doing on 98 Caltex currently. Any recommendations if I have to change? Would 95 be recommended? Which company petrol can achieve the highest mileage? I only do SG pumping currently. Will try M'sia in the future.

Thanks for all advice.

IMO..

Sometimes, someting tat U have to try out yourself n not based on what your friend says...

I been using SG Esso8000, Caltex98, Shell VPower..even MLY Esso 'F1'.

The diff in performance n smoothness n ECT U will notice.. Try pump top SG petrol for 1 month & try switching to MLY petrol if U wanna experience it..

Noticeable diff but not tat great..

Milage wise, as stated above.. Depends..

my best was about 420km till bone dry

should be on the average side. unless you expecting to get more out of the fuel.

230 until dry or until fuel gauge blinking? either way not so normal.

250f 280r for me. Also pillion most of the time. I can hit 320 before blink. Alot of factors can lead to bad fc.

The max I pumped before is $21.00++ of Shell Fusion petrol
