Apart from JB, which workshop do you recommend between Scooter Narcotics and Future Scootering? Or is there any other recommended one. Mah Pte Ltd service really cannot make it, lousy after sales and cannot be trusted.

Check out Unique Motorsport at Autobay. GTS servicing for $160 only. Their other servicing packages very reasonably priced.

I'd avoid Scooter Narcotics-one man show though the mechanic is quite a nice guy. Helped explain how stuff works and all my other nosy questions. Workshop didn't even have a funnel to top up my transmission oil!

Yo bros, gts dun have oil filter right? So normal servicing only change eo and gear oil?

I welcome all of you..hope all of you can share the experience of which shops,parts and etc that we can patronise or avoid..please indicate the price ,parts that you change and shop

At least others can know which to compare from cheapest to expensive

There is an oil filter but its reusable.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. It's a metal mesh filter that just needs to be cleaned and reused-no need to change it.

Oh... went future scootering just now and they say no oil filter... so in the end change eo and gear oil only... where is this oil filter located?

Expensive I feel... 18 bucks for motul 5100 and 5 bucks for gear oil. Their full servicing also cost 160 bucks... but not sure what are included

I went to tai hin last week, $32 for engine and gear oil changed.

For engine oil its depend type n brands..cost from $10 above..

That why i changed in JB using yamaha engine oil rm16 n yamaha scooter gear oil rm8..total rm24..

I think if we bring parts and ask them to fix it, i think will be cheap in jb..just pay labour cost only..

At least we know where to go to find which shop is offer better price.

I've been going to AC Motors. At first east centre. It's above tai hin if I'm not wrong. Quite ok and the mech ah choong knows what he's doing.

 

So far all troubleshooting and servicing done at his shop. So far so good!

Yes, there is a re-usable metal mesh oil filter. Reliable and honest mechanic will clean it before fixing it back.

Nope... they nv charge labour... but after gst is slightly more than 24 bucks.
