Any recommended brand ? My friend is riding S4 SpecII with HID Headlight... If put at handle bar with his headlight, would be improve the vision recording in the night?

 

As now, its just worries about recording in the night...

to me the most decent budget cam is sj4000, but you will have to deal with it's poor night image and pathetic battery life

but ive read it somewhere over here, that cars around the rider will behave themselves when they saw the camera equipped on the rider..not sure if it applies to all the drivers though..

I got a Sony HDR-AS15 bought @ Harvey Norman for $400. Mount on top of my helmet, i prefer my camera to see where i'm seeing. You're right HaoKR lol. Tested with and without my camera. Recorded alot near miss. Invest a camera and save your NCD. =)

It really help to warning driver that are trying to misbehave or try something stupid that you are recording. Putting it at places where driver can see clearly is not a bad thing and also it allow you to recording your surrounding better then putting it on your handlebar.

Trust me i use the gopro mount with the 3m adhesive tape and they are really strong. Been putting on my helmet for a year now once its on its not going to come off.

that is really afordable for a gopro.. but sj4000 is really a lot cheaper as compared to the gopro, and also have the various mounts available..
