hey guys, curious. for fz6 faired which white bulbs are legal on sg roads? and what size ah?

What I understand is that FZ6 use H4 and H7. Any halogen bulb can be used and legal as long watt is not more then the recommened watt..

oic. how much is fz6 recommended watt? H4 is for the left bulb and H7 is for the hi light bulb right? the highlight bulb can just use the normal one or not , not the dual filament? cos i dont intend to do the dual headlight mod anyways.

Until now only problem found is that there was water inside the fuel tank. Do you guys also have similar problem?

Today I have got a very strange problem in my bike. After starting while i was waiting to warm up the bike, I noticed that RPM suddenly drops and eventually the engine stopped. That time engine temp was about 55C. Afterwards I tried to start the engine again, but it simply didn't start. All lights, meters everything is as usual working; I can hear the engine is cranking, but engine failed to start-up.

Another thing, what are the major servicing you guys do in 75K or 80K Km.

Water Seaping in tank is normal.for yamaha bikes.. I will encounter.usually when going reserve.. The.bike will feel.like its dying but just give it a couple of blips.and should be fine.. I hate my keypad.. Urghhh

no projectors are able to fit that small opening.. you must take out the clear cover to slot the projectors in. if there's any that's able to slot in from the rear i would buy it too..

out of topic, but do consider HIR bulbs from lim battery.. they are not tinted white but its relatively brighter than many others on the market.

Time to replace my battery for my FZ1N 2008. Any shop to recommend for the oem battery or similar that is reliable. Does Ah Beng at Bikewerkz carries them and a rough indication of price. Thanks.

OEM batt from HL or anywhere too costly.. Was quoted 2++ at Loois.. Maybe u can try Unique for the Ballistic batt just like what Mr Charles posted previously..

Quite a few quality issues cropped out for the ballistic battery.

 

Yes, there is warranty covered but agent support isn't there as far as I know..

anyone here with frazer 1st gen? anyone tried using alternate battery? I wanted AGm type but shop only got the YT14b-bs which is liquid sealed type, but for what i knew battery at slant angle cant use such battery as it's aint effective and life of battery will reduce. anyone can give some info?

I got my FZ1 battery for Ah Boy for around 110, worked perfectly for 2 years til I sold it. Most importantly is to do re-conditioning every 6 mths.
