I'm quite interested in this model was thinking of selling my 6600 to get this top up bout $400...hmm...the features look really tempting and its smaller and cheaper than P900 series...

 

Ony drawback it doesn't have keypad...

great phone i must say... ez to use function...

still can read ur message to u to when u r driving....

dun worry abt keypad.... the buttons on screen is big enuff for ur fat thumb to press... 8)

i m exploring ths phone too....

will post up more.....

one thing i dun like is that the phone dun show the date, but the time onlly.....

so u meed to go to celender to view the date.... got lunar date too....

fun games and real one player... i just upload a mtv into it... cool. man

get it from starhub still got free 512 sd card... hehhehe

internal memory is said to be 50mb BUT the system file alreay took 20mb liao lor... but still enuf....

 

 

 

BTW its not a Mp cam... so dun expect good photos/vedio taken by it...

just wondering...got mp3 player?? if so is the sound quality gd? also for sms do u have to scribble it away? does it read the scribbling sensitively? Thanks bro...am interested in gettin the phone

good news for u bro . it has an mp3 player . n the sound is stereo . the so called surround sound is due to the fone having speakers on both sides of the fone to give it surround feeling . its similiar to the speakers from the E398 ,

 

Anyway , sms , i think can either type on the on-screen keyboard or use handwriting recognition .

 

basically a good rival to the more expensive P910i , n more comes wif a free 512MB SD card as a carrot .

it is linux...and i dun think that many games or applications are out now for it....must wait.

quite ok lah , but the linux os makes it difficukt to find freeware on the net .as compared to the symbian os the nokia uses .

hihi.... how abt messaging?? is the fone sms frenly?? can onli use stylus to sms?? or the screen big enuff to sms on the screen using fingers?? jus like norm fone??

its possible to use the fingers , but i wun do tat .

after using the fone for a while , i very sian abt the fone , cos it runs on linux n i cant find any software for it .

 

but the E680 will be the best fone if i could find the movie player for it cos the screen is big n the sound rocks .

 

btw , playing mp3 songs on it is good cos of the surround speakers .

after using for 2 weeks , i feel tat tis fone is quite good . i put the whole Kung Fu Hustle vcd into the fone to watch . shiok .

 

but the compliants r the lack of support fotr games n software .

Reason being sometimes got to sms in a hurry, while walking.. so if have to use 2 hands, then I cant keep my eye on the road.. might end up in longkang...

ya , sms need to use stylus to tap on the on-screen keyboard , which is quite small in size .

 

it can support chinese sms text , but not sure abt the stroke thing , cos i normally use nokia fone to send chinese sms .

the fone is good.been using Nokia before and switched to e398 amd e680 recently. Love the SD card and MP3 player.Movie is good to view cause can view full screen and the sound...it rocks!The only problem is sms must use keyborad or handwrite with stylus.every fone got down side and up. Up to U to decide but it's a good fone I must say.Never been so happy to use motorola fone myself since I'm a nokia avid.

I just bought this phone yesterday and all i can say is im enjoying it! Siply a marvalous phone that fulfils all the multimedia capabilities. I can't believe how good the speakers are when i turn the MP3 on and my frens were pretty impressed from it! Except for the SMS which i think is a matter of time to get used to it, the phones pretty fine. And the camaera ain't all that bad, it look preety clear and sharp on the ohone so im not complaining. I guess now the only other phone i will consider upgrading will be the A1000! By the way im a hradcore Nokia fan so this phone took me off by a bit before i considered switching. Was looking at 3230 but decided i needed to try something different and now imnot looking back!

Ah i see we have another Nokia avid fan and i must say the switch to this phone is simply wonderful! I hope we can have a gathering for all users of this phone and maybe we can exchange pointers and stuff on how to operate it better...im still learning. So anyone game to meet up? Even ppl considering can join in to test the phone out before buying.

i tink i drop the idea of buying this hp ah... im someone who loves to SMS while doin other things.. so needing 2 hands would prove quite a hassle... tink im juz gg wif S65.. tot of 7260 too.... seems like S65 is better and cheaper...
