Not sure if it's the same but I'm using OtterBox for my blackberry. Drop it once on the escalator it went like bing bong biang and it really protects my phone well. LOL don't have any visible damage to casing or phone. It can be pricey but might be worth the price! (Y)

thanks buddy for the review! i am using OtterBox BlackBerry for my 9780 too. thought wanted to get iPhone for my girlfriend an myself but end getting blackberry, that why have no use for the case in the end.
