yes i've never been to PG but i've heard some smaller cc perform beta at corners on TRACK...but like i've said again and again track and road different...99.95% of the time u on road...so i believe those who can perform beta on roads are more streetwise and the skills is more useful to us den tracks...but when i finally do up my L model and my wife allow i may go downn track...just waiting for approval from her nia... :lol:

not trying to flame here...its just everyone got different perspectives on different things that all... :angel:

so if u wanna talk about ROAD/street-riding, den it still boils down to the rider.

fast bike or slow bike its still da rider...

how he reads ROAD situations and how he reacts to it...

and EXPERIENCE is important too.

Ya'all go waaaaay off topic liaoz :faint:

Anyways, yes. Cubs are quite versatile.

That's why peeps from our neighbouring countries sometimes abuse their "authority" on the roads with their puny bikes :angry:

This "ride is important" quote is valid for road-riding IMO.

For track, it's the rider that matters...however fast ya go, big/small bike -- you'll have to face corners as obstacles anyways. So, rider with skill = fast rider on track.

Err...alrite then.

But IMO cubkias are not replacements for Cls 2A bikes hor...

Actually, I was wondering where Terry is now.

I can say that RVF is slow. I keep getting chase around by SP and Malaysia Kips. I was told not to "play" with 2B sportbike like SP and Kips. Haiz... What to do? Let them lap me all the time. :sian:

This thread would have been more appropriate if it is solely about the technicalities of 2A bikes.Rather than the talk about riders skills.

To a 2A rider fresh out of riding school,he/she might be more interested about the qualitative aspects substantiated by relevant websites.Like;

1)0-100 km/h = ? sec

2)Wheelbase area + length of bike(to understand turning dynamics)

3)Features of the bike that would safe one's life.

4)Top speed on drag strip(irrelevant to Singapore's context but just to stimulate interest).

Let's make it safe for everyone out there.

Just to point you guys in the right direction,

I agree with you in the technicality aspect as well.

3)Features of the bike that would safe one's life.

I don't understand how this aspect is relevant to this topic though. Care to share some more information about it?

Oh, and I think it's best if we also added some more "qualitative aspects".

IMO:

5) The drivetrain, various gears, engine parts (no modifications), tyres --> all of them as provided out-of-the-factory, or as close to it as possible.

6)
Preferably
the rider (or bike tester, to put it this way) has to be the constant in this shootout experiment.

Reason why I've included this is because modding the bike will alter the constants and thus the results in the shootout. Remember, this thread is about "Which 2A bike is the fastest"

===

By the way, thanks for the motorcycle-maintenance related website! It sure was informative. :)
