Hi,need to check with u guys

 

Watz the penalty of riding a bike w/o a silencer on a approved aftermarket exhuast pipe?

 

i've askin around many ppl but still i cant get the real ans.

 

i've check wif the bike mech...they say straight away $500

 

sm say 1st timer $70...2nd time $500

 

sm say juz $70

 

so...anyone kana or frd who kana can help ans tis?

Helo Mr Ice long time no see... Remove silencer... i kana once... $500... :cry: :cry: It says" Illegal modification on exhaust pipe"...appeal at LTA personally...fine reduce to $200.... :sian:

So lesson to be learnt here? Don't take out your silencer. If you insist on taking it out just because you like the loud noise, then no harm saving up and keeping $500 or $750 on standby... :goodluck:

I called up the LTA n checked with em...n got the ans :smile:

 

if u ride a motorbike with legal exhuast without a silencer...is consider tampering

 

 

and the penalty is $500...plz take note...

 

those who caught $750 is becoz...

 

either its a 2nd timer or not juz tampering the pipe

if u give the ROV reason like-silencer got stolen,fly off or wat...depends on them whether wanna bring it up or wat..if u lucky enuff..they either let u off or fine u $70 for noise pollution...so takecare bro n sis.

bro...lets put it this way..

 

first scenario...someone has a valid driving licence and commits a serious offence like drink driving...he is in the wrong..

 

second scenario...someone has no driving licence...but drives carefully and obey all traffic rules...he is also in the wrong...

 

for your case....i tink ur referring to the second scenario...u can judge the outcome..
