Ive read the basic HD Xenon bulb doesnt produce a lot more brightness. The better bulb is the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra. Going to HID requires a ballast and other parts that brings up the cost. Not sure where to get the Silverstar bulb in Singapore.

I've done HID on my busa last time.. $150 and the result was pretty good. Not too sure if this kinda things work on a HD. Anyway, considering all that trouble, I'm giving HID a miss... I just bought and changed to a PIAA light bulb... if cost = good and bright bulb, then this should be damn good and bright.... haha

My neighbours / strangers only come to say 'Hi' and have a better look at my Harley when am washing it.

No 'dirty look' for sure but be considerate when moving off in the CP or coming back late as the after market pipies sound can be a nusiance to some.

haha....i see.

So i suppose the stock HD pipes should still be in the acceptable volume range...:cheeky:

1997 TZR 125 - 1998 FZ 150 - 1999 GSXR 400K - 1999 RX 100 - 2000 LC 125 - 2001 TZR 125 - 2002 CB 400 Ver S - 2006 CBR 929 - 2006 GETZ 1.4 - 2009 STEED 400 - 2016 ???

Riders ride to work. Drivers work to drive.

Well, if your expecting a sport bike, you will be disappointed. Look to the Vrod. As an unique touring bike that has Harley blood running through it, you will be happy.

i wanted to get a ducati at first, but when i went to the showroom to get it, and when i asked the lady manager there for an opinion between s2 n s4, she said, "i wont recommend to get a bike cause riding a bike is dangerous"

i straight away left n went straight to harley showroom to get this bike, this bike is for city use

i like this bike n only this compared to other cause of 1 reason

the foot rest is straight down instead of forward like the rest, performance wise its excellent, and this bike n fat boy are the only 2 harleys with best handling.

as in u can throw the bike down n pick it up after a bend without any much of a problem

Thanks Mak , any regret or complain so far that you wanna share about xr 1200?

the running in period was quite slow for me, cause i really wanted to wack the bike

another problem was this bike is a new model so alot of harley mods r not avail for this bike... so if u really want a bike which u want to mod alot, then i wont really recommend this model

but if ur going to keep it stock, then :)
