Harley Riders gather

My Sporty pass the 800km mark this morning!

 

Now can push it harder!

 

Rode in rain, tried e-braking, tried cornering it hard, and it still performs to my satisfaction. Thought I would regret getting a Harley, but this is a nice ride.

 

The black paint is very difficult to take care though. Many small scratches already, and a long one from my jacket.

For Sportster 1200 owners, how's your FC? I'm getting only around 17km/L with 95 gas, 70% expressway.

You mean the non-Harley guys can join in too? That will be one fun & ironic scene to imagine, one group of Japanese Sportbikes with American Legend

Non stock 1200 getting 16km/L with 98gas, 70% expressway.

Hmmm... about the same as to my Z1000.

 

I thought that the 1200 will be having FC about 19km/L.

My is ard 16L, but the fuel light always on when I used abt 8L after pump. Is it normal?

I wonder if the high consumption is due to the fact that it haven't went through the 1600km break-in service.

jus came back fr a Ride up to Fraser's Hill last weekend. Great! the Sportster was great for the trunk roads & the corners up & down Fraser, but think i'll need a small windshield for speeds above 140kph on the NSH...

 

my ave FC was ard 19km/litre for the highway riding....

 

anyone got any lobang for a small wind-shield for my Sportster 1200???

may be some of you guys had check the news, LTA has ask their sub-contractor: "Request for Proposal of Mobile Camera System"

 

which is installation of camera in vehicle, probably inside a MPV & SUV, to record road user using bus lane during peak hour, illegal red color plate driver, speeding & illegal vehicle number plate.

 

The camera they using are about the same used at Geylang road lamp-post.

 

So the Big Brother will be watching everywhere soon... or actually they are watching already?

So far so good. If camera have built-in mic, I could be in bigger trouble.
