Usually wet weather we cancel, so far so good. It rain in the day and dry at night.

Prior to move off, we will choose a place to settle down for food and drinks. Often go one big round the island. After, most time a sub-group will split from the main body to continue the ride with a few stops. Distance coverage is about 50-100km. Make sure you fill up your tank before reporting. :p

Wah!! Two-in-one exhaust!

I guess I would only have enough funds to mod after 1 year.

wow, that is a nearly 12 yrs old bike, may I know any major problem you face?

Guess the good thing about older HD is the basic engine ...

everything fairly easy to repair ...

But b4 buying, should asked around the HD community ...

some HD got such bad rep, its not funny ...

After 10 years, if previous owner didn't borther with basic care and TLC,

be prepared to spend quite abit ...

HD community quite small, only about 3 pouplar places to go for servicing ..

so the people there should be avble to tell you (if you're nice to them) if the bike is a lemon....

guys,

I have thought abt bike outing. Does bike Community have Rule & regulation for outing?

such as ridding attire, has to form up inline during convoying, cant overtake... etc?

If rules & regulations have implemented, does it legal/enhance our group safety when TP stop us during outing?

Hi, wanna ask if screaming eagle pipes can be fixed on NEW bikes immediately? Or require some run in mileage before the change?

Any ideas what other pipes availabe for sportster that give a low bass tone?

No need run in can fix in. :D

If you are going for low bassy tone ... you might want to look into 49states. Power wise so-so. :p

Collected my bike last week. Spent the weekend polishing and coating the paintwork, and protecting the metal parts. Haven't done such detailing on bikes for a long time.

The clutch is hard, the engine is noisy, the transmission is clunky, the suspension is bone-jarring, and the vibration at idle is quite severe. But I FEEL ALIVE!

Leaves me smiling everytime I ride it. It is an experience that I cannot describe properly. The bike is also very nimble and the handling is quite light. The brakes, although not Brembo qualty, is surprisingly adequate. It is also the first time in many years that I can put down my feet flat on the ground, had been tip-toeing for the past 6 years.

Maybe it is the initial novelty, but I like this ride quite a lot. My only complain is that my accessories are not here yet, so no rigid saddle bags to lock my jacket and rain coat, so quite inconvenient for now.
