there are rearsets if i never remember wrongly from sato racing but they come up to about either $700 or $900 including shipping, thus i skipped that mod.

 

You're right about Sato Racing having provided M400 with rearsets, but unfortunately even they have stopped production.

ACCIDENT! Skidded on the wet road. My bike is going to Raymond but I have a question about the steering stop which is part of the frame. The steering stop has bent and to repair it, either I change the whole frame (too expensive and too much paperwork) or I get a welder to do it. I will ask Raymond if he can, but if he can't, does anybody have a recommendation for a welder?

Oh no. Hope youre alright! Depending on the damage I doubt you have to weld anything. Remove the screw for the stop and put in another one? Is the tank ok?

It's the stopper that was bent. Strangely, the screw was intact. I thought it should be the other way round.

some tanks floating around 2nd hand in good shape. Ask around. Of course theres always ebay too.

 

Try extend the screw to balance off the other side. Dont bend it back, it might break.
