How many times u took 2B TP?

i think the secret to passing is confidence and correct safety checks.

i took 8 tries to pass my tp. my 7th time i overslept and didnt go.. lol...

but got revoked 6 months after that for speeding...

 

my revoked just finish and went thru my lessons @bbdc swiftly in one month.

8.01 was scary for me coz its almost the same as tp, if not, harder.

but i passed on the first try. reason? who knows.

 

but i do notice something.

those who failed 8.01, the way they check blindspot, its like only for show... they turn helmet, but lookin at the floor...

as a rider with only 6 months on the road b4 (more considerin under darkness riding ), blindspot checking is very important. mirrors are never enuff for u to be safe.

 

for those of u who say blindspot ''wayang'' can already, its luck which helped u passed.

lets say u ''wayang'' check blindspot while on tp. then suddenly really got car or bike there then u didnt take precautionary actions, you'll cause inconvinence to other road users. from there tp confirm will mark u and try to give u as many points as possible to purposely fail u, and make sure u know the proper way of checking blindspot b4 u pass by making u book another tp.

 

no offence to anyone here, just my 2 cents plus exp...

my first few tp i also ''wayang'' only... learned my lesson the hard way...

I took TP once, never underestimated the power of checking blindspot. One year into riding, i still check blindspot. And my YBR got those super big stock mirrors. Many time i check mirror then i check blind spot, suddenly i see car or bike, faster stop and dont change lane. Checking Blindspot is a skill that saved me many times, so i'm not gonna chug it anytime soon.

Hi ppl!IJust my two cents worth point of views:) I have to agree with crazydj..its either ego vs simple acts of checking yr blindspot ..like him..this habit saves me lots of times..cheers! Ride safe ppl!

Me 5x, and dat goes to saying when e days 5 practical stages (which nw is 5 in circuit + 3 out on e rd) is enuf to book urself ur 1st 2B tp. when i gt my 2B on e 5th attempt, n dats without 3 xtra lessons( free $$$$$ gone ) + pray to e higher Level......hahahahahahaha....those were e days

Ooops. forget to add on. for all riders to be. be noted that my wifey has her 2B licence too. daaat is also a looooog story. 6xxxxx 2b tp, passed on the 7th attempt. So, dun gv up, jz pump in e $$$$ for ur ticket to a whole new world of 2wheelerzzzz. Cheers :-)

i managed to pass my tp on my 2nd attempt, but i had zero confidence when i was about to ride my bike on the road for the first time.. still felt like i needed more practice.

2 attempts. 1st attemp, 16 pts just for wobbling, plus some others, so many pts.. 2nd time, only 2 pts for wobble and some minor stuff. so it did pay to go into the circuit more just to train balance. anyway, i agree with faustin, i just got my 2b, so looking ard and testing bikes now, i almost bang into a wall this afternoon when trying an auto bike becos everything is so different.. need more time.. if only cdc has circuit revision slots for pple using their own bikes, haha, then it will provide a more confident start.

@ arae136. agree w ur view. guess they, i mean e driving ctrs shld look into this. since e SSDC is now multi-storeyed, guess they cld afford some space for this kind of lessons. i knw hw u feel, same goes with most riders when they gt theirs too

Pass at 1st attempt for 2B and 2A.

 

Maybe age also play a part, i guess the tp will mark more strictly for those younger rider (18 - 25). Me ard 26 when took the 2B. When i saw those who fail when we taking the test, mostly ar the younger one.

 

Attitude also impt, don go there and think: 'this is just another test for me to pass, waste of time...' Must believe in the seriousness and impt of this test, then u will put the rite mind set to practice. Rather, the mind set shld be: 'this skill i am learning is useful and impt for me, it is essential that i am good enf so that i can use it on the road.'' that y ppl still tell u blind spot checking is not for show only. I saw b4 kids that are fooling ard when in circuit, like doing hard braking, laughing and talking to fren.
