Front fork stabilizer or clamp...........

how it works???

 

i notice that quite a number of s4 installed this gadget....

how it works and wat performance it gives when ridin?? :confused:

May i know how u define excessive flexing of the fork?

Base on the mounting of the clamp which are the critical points that are involved. Pls enlighten!

replace flexing with stressing...

 

 

"This flex is usually only felt under racing conditions where the front end of the bike is severely loaded. The reaction of the forks is to twist causing the front wheel to turn abnormally and the twisting reduces the amount of up and down work (aka stiction) the forks can do." Ron West

i'm not sure of where the critical points are though... u can check wif il4...

it sure is a great difference if u have 1, i try chiong type b4 that around $70 is good but aft i change it to Daytona that's around $165 a year back i feel even better can't explain in words is a feeling, and it's worth the price, mine is spec1 i'm not sure whether they have it for other model of S4...

i think everi model of S4 has its own type of fork brace.

Ver.S & CBR share e same one.

fork brace invite theft. :D

for better braking performance, change the original brake hose to steel braided ones like HEL or Goodridge. HEL steel hose at lavender auntie shop 190bucks plus new oil. mah jeffery also quoted about that price range. spent your money on this instead.

Fork brace is designed to take shear stress caused by the forks sliders trying to twist & stabilize it. :smile:

guess it works like the stablizing beam found in HONDA SIR ..if u open the front bonnet, u can see tat it is screwed on to the front suspension .,...

 

for those bros that are using the fork brace, does it realy helps?

It works... In high speed, it helps to reduce wobble of the steering as it enhances the rigidity of the fork. As you can see, the 2 tubes are only secured at the axle and the triple-clamp. In between, there is a very large gap that is not secured.

 

This is to my knowledge...

which place sell the fork brace at a lower rate?? LAB or motoworld??

Any pictures for fork brace? Are there many types of fork braces in the market now? I saw one RXZ fitting with fork brace and wonder is it able to use for S4 too?
