Guys,

I've contacted the panniers reflective decal seller already.. he has agreed that if the orders are for more than 5 pieces then he'll be able to combine & cut down on the shipping charges ((USD$22 x N) + USD $5) where N is the number more then 5. if not it'll just be USD$22 + USD$5(Shipping) each. Which works out to be about SGD$43++ according to currency conversion rate from http://www.xe.com (but online rate differs from over the counter so might wanna add SGD$2 to that amt)

I'm suppose to get back to him by the end of this week. Any interested parties?

Anyone else interested in the decals? If not i'm gonna order already.

Anyone here ever changed their rear absorber before?

Any idea what's the cause of minor leakage?

Any bike shops that can do repairs to the leaking absorber? Or gotta change entirely new one if cant be repaired.

I've contacted Sporting Motors.

The absorbers they have come in 4 grades but the price is classified as "cheapest" and "most expensive".

"Cheapest" one cost $1192 and its non-adjustable. No stock now and will gotta wait around 4weeks.

"Most expensive" one cost $2110 and is fully adjustable.

Good thing about Ohlins is that it can be serviced, hence need not replace the whole bloody thing when it leaks.Last longer too.

AM selling the OEM one @ $680 excluding installation.

Still thinking bout which one to get...sigh...$$$$$

There some 'spring fluid' inside the absorber to control the rebouncing after hitting uneven surfaces. W/o this fluid, the spring will wear off faster and rebounce harder.

No idea why it leaks too but think for local riding, it stil can be used.

Just need to get it changed before gg for long trips.

 it is not reflectve, it is those industrial grade, meaning very tough, colour & wordings all very strong, won't fade away. Usually we use it for industrial labelling of pipes, machines, signs...etc

So it is very suitable for printing my name on it, i use it for 3years already, wash bike so many times until now still so good.

wah lao eh, don't understand... bought my bike from speedway. reached the first 800km so i went for an oil change. speedway is at the other end of the island so i went to Looi's because they're nearer to my home and they refused to change engine oil for me.

in the end i just rode to speedway to change the oil.

I've attempted to make appointment to service my bike at Looi's.

They just turn me down too.

Think their service is v in demand.

I dun bother anymore.

So end up with HL most of the time.

Why are people who ride motorcycles called bikers and people who ride bikes called cyclists?

that guy told me "never buy bike from us, we won't service for you"... that's abit too much already. its not like i'm asking for free service, just an oil change! :nono:

i'm wondering if i should get those intercom thingies, so i can talk to the pillion or something.
