hey FJRians, might not be able to make it to the meetup tonite, working late.... will only be free after 1030pm.

 

will have to be at LC Food COurt (Katong) ard 10plus to collect the 3 NCR T-shirts. cookies, u wanna meet me there ard that time to collect yours??

RIding "kataks".. true lah, not too wise to ride FJR on a weekday on S'pore roads...

 

I heard my friends riding Busa that they know a friend whose katak is FJR, :lovestruck: , touring bike is Busa... What a rich guy!! :smile:

Whoa... just when i tot of getting HID... wonder if it's gd... anyone has any idea? Will it like drain the battery life?

its illegal in the first place. I heard the penalty if caught is more than being caught for illegal exhaust.

fjr as katak bike???? busa as touring bike ??? bro u need to give some advise to yr friend fjr move around at singapore road how to squeeze??? u need to changed busa to katak bike then can move better.. no doubt that NSH busa can move faster the FJR but tank wise busa smaller and imagine the sitting position all the way to thailand.....back breaking..

I am not too sure also too.. I did see that guy riding his FJR to Kulai to eat supper with us once. As I was admiring his blue FJR, my friend pointed out to me that this guy has another Busa(think with very good, high-end mods) and he uses it for touring. I am not sure about him lah, but heard he's quite well-to-do, if not, how can he afford to own two BIG bikes? :smile:

 

Anyway, can I seek advices from the expereinced riders here?? I see all my Busa friends have another small bike as katak and saw on one of the post that you guys riding FJR also have another small bike as kataks. Is it REALLY a must to buy a katak for riding in S'pore?? Is there anyone "surviving" with just his FJR?? Cos after I get my FJR next year, finance is like kind of "tight" for me to get another Wave 125 or Yamaha X1 125 as a katak... I am not a rich guy lor...

I think that guy is me.. But i dont own a Busa thou. However I patron the Busa thread alot :p But on the other hand I use the FJR as touring. As for the other ride I just do some modding to it. Just wan to see how far I can push it.. Apparently pretty far, haha.

there is a few of FJR rider "survive" only riding FJR in SG.. eg, ashenz, happy_cookies, omnislash..

is not a must that u need a kapchai as a katak at the same time u own a big bike..my view is, is all depend on individual. :smile:

I really did hear from one of the Busa rider that there is a guy who own a FJR and a Busa... and his katak is FJR... I was telling this friend that, "Wow, he is so rich ah... use FJR as a katak... If he is bored with his katak one day, ask him to sell me second hand leh... :smile: "

I think it was during one of the makan trips to Kulai that this blue FJR joined us, I can't remember exactly. But it was a very nice blue FJR, when we parked at M'sia petrol station to gas up, even bikers from another group came over to admire this blue FJR...

 

My bike is a small bike not worth mentioning in front of all the toa gus (big cows) here... :smile:

 

I am hanging out with some Busa guys currently. Think you know Freddy???

Brudder dun worry...FJR can be riden in spore as your daily commuting bike too, just try to avoid getting stuck in jams.

I'm surviving only on the FJR currently, with intention to get a car soon.

Think that's a wiser choice and better vehicle combo.

Dun think so..think HID bulbs electrical consumption is the same as OEM ones.

In return, one gets brighter and further reaching headlights.

If not for the price, I sure get them installed.
