I know it might be silly suggestion.... But does anyone of you brought ur FJR to track? Maybe can organise a session for the last week this month? I have nv been to track before and you can say I'm dying to experience it at least once before I die. But I dun want to go with pple I dunno.

hi fellow FJRians, i am looking for MRA 2-piece windshield for FJR 1300 02' model.

 

Pls quote your price. I require only the lower piece + the attachment screws, so it doesnt matter if u do not have the complete set. Apparently some ****ma driver / rider langga my parked bike and ran off, creating a fair amount of damage just before Xmas.

Also, the shop said I've to go to hong leong to fit my side-panniers. Is this the normal practice for new bikes?

is normal that u need to go to HL & fix ur side box.

as for run in part u can use the dyno run method. just spend 90bucks & 45mins later ur bike is good to go liao. Happy_cookies used this method on his babe & his babe still "walking tall" till today after 1.5years.

Damn, my final drive oil is leaking through a hole at the swing arm. Anyone had this problem before? Especially the older FJRs?

could it due to the hardern of gasket? go to motorworld & look 4 meng tong..

I've taken a look at the parts catalogue. There's an oil seal and o-ring. The mating surface no gasket one. Its quite a clever design actually. The hole is meant to let the oil leak out if the o-ring is worn so that you will know.

 

I check with auto for the parts tmr. Sianz... Den I'll go find my mechanic.

What's this "dyno run" method? I asked the mechanic at HL for advice, and he said just don't exceed 100km/hr for the first 1000km, then do an oil change, then should be ok already. HL gave me this booklet which had coupons for free oil change at 1000km and 3000km. But must book appt 2 to 3 wks in advance.

yup yup, now I get to feel first-hand why u guys love ur FJRs so much. Its awesome

 

Just need to get used to the extra-large rear. Have to keep reminding myself not to try and squeeze between vehicles like I used to with my Super4.

Hi there, mine cost around 23.2K for machine price (with COE) alone. Plus all the extras like insurance, transfer fee, road tax, GST, etc, it comes to about 25K plus.

 

I did notice an advert in SBF itself selling a '04 model for 16K around May this year. It looked awesome with alot of accessories, but I didn't have cash then and it was troublesome having to source for my own finance, otherwise I might have taken that one.

that is proven that 06' & above works better then 05' & below :cry:

& remember i thing all my FJR fellows, this bike is a working horse, is not a race horse. So pls don't intend to use it to outrun a sportbikes.

don't believe go try with busa, sure will kena left right up down center
