nope that is ur brake caliper bro..

the swingarm is below ur saddlebag; black metal U-bar which ur rear rim is fixed onto..

THanks... u know what are the danger if brake caliper is not tight?

So far, still okie.. but occasionally will experience a loss of power at 90km/hr... the vibrating is also scaring me.. haha.

U know of any shops that are open as early as tml? Those will not chop u that type...

And i think the shop is opened only on Friday...

Practical Test Checklist:

√ Sudden and late braking

√ Faulty signal lights

√ Superb use of horn

√ Assume road belongs to father

√ Never at fault no matter what happens

√ Tailgating confidence

Result: YES! You qualify to become a Singapore car driver!

i doubt there's any danger if it's loose..

in ur case, the pad in the caliper will brush again the disc irregularly

wear-ing in your pads faster & irregularly..

but if the brake piston in your brake caliper is jammed..

that's a totally different thing..(very dangerous)

i suggest you check your wheel bearing bro..

howto: move ur rims to the left and right and see whether there's any freeplay..

there shouldn't be any noticeable freeplay in the first place..

the vibration could also be caused by ur damaged rim..

not sure of phantom's rim as the rear is fully covered but u mentioned ah chong patched it..

in most cases, the rim would be pressed back but it won't be 100% back to what it was before..

at high speed, you can notice slight vibration which over time will increase..

ah chong mentioned his shop will open on friday..

but play safe call him up beforehand..
