For those whom require the technical info as how to reset/clear the "service" icon.

1. Turn the key to 'swith on' (but don't press the ignition)

2. IMMEDIATELY press the switch which is on the top of the throttleimage.jpg on the right handle (just as u would do to reset the odometre/clock settings - but this time hold on to it all the way for couple of seconds until the blinking readings have stopped). You will eventually see that the 'service' icon disappear from the LCD meter panel.

Please refer to photo shown the said switches

Attached back on the bike. Trimmed the plastic abit more to ensure no interference.

Note: You can see from the muddy water stain that actually water is splashed quite near the edge and will be flung into rider area easily.

Great job there! Can please share the dimensions of the mudflaps?

Thanks. :)

Don't mention as just a small part of info sharing.....nonetheless appreciate and thanks you and Andre for the contribution on the AD3...

Noted that you have added on the mud flaps which shall minimize the water being hurl by the 2 front tyres.....

However as apparently the main culprit is the rainwater blown by the wind, flowing into and shall wet the rider and pillion....

I think we have found a way to eliminate or minimize the rider from getting wet by the rainwater which importantly, this improvising did not incur huge cost or massive modify work......

We have put the "improvise" AD3 in today's heavy rain fall test and the result was quite impressive....

intent to run a few more test to conclude our test report which could be share if there are interested Advia3 riders and owners.....

One of the things that the mudflap improved was water spray hitting pillion foot and exhaust area. There is a construction site near my workplace and often i pass through the muddy water. It becomes very clear where the water spray hits and then evaporate leaving the mud stains behind.

Good to hear that. Went pass some wet roads and already felt light spray on my feet at the moment.

Can't wait for the mudflaps to arrive. :)
