Do they have Diablo stradas in 110/140?

I've gotten my Stradas cos my M3s gave up. Very quick warm-up and sticky sides. I love it.

Think the Stradas are not available in that sizes. If you're talking about putting it on the non-Vtec series, you can try using 120/160 cos I ever used it on my Version S. But if you stil wanna stick to the 110/140 size, you can try Bridgestone BT039.

Hi Guys,

I am due for a new set of tyres on my 2008 honda cb400 sf revo in the very near future. My bike currently has 15500kms on it and I have had the bike since it was on 3000kms when I bought it in January this year so I am sure they are the original factory tyres on it. On average I use the bike about 400-600 kms per week so I am after a tyre which is suitable for day to day commuting and has longeivity.

The current rubbers on it are

Front: Bridgestone 120/60ZR17M/C Batlax BT.50F Radial

Rear: Bridgestone 160/60ZR17M/C Batlax BT.50R Radial

Which tyres would you recommend me to get?

2008 Honda CB400SF Revo ABS - Moriwaki OnePiece Shorty Exhaust & Slider, GodSend Radiator Mesh, 2 Pt Crash Bars, LSL Street Foot Pegs, OEM screen, Scottoiler, Red/White Leds, Bagster Tank Cover, Michelin P Pure Front/P Road 2 Rear Tyres, HID 4300K, Gilles Tooling 41mm Clip Ons, Powdercoated Rims/Rearsets & Passenger Pegs, Rizoma Avio 21 Signals, Motovation Universal Barends...

can ver s fit rear tyres 160/60? cos i see the list like um or hkl, the tyres for ver s only till 150 for rear. n anyone review on pilot sport? grippy even during wet weather n in corners too. or is the only grippy tyres bt 90 n strada?

I am always seen on the left lane hogging the road. :D

well here's my honest review.

lifespent 100% better than the Alpha 11s.

noticed that the middle is slightly harder compared to the soft Alpha 11s.

grip - good enough. but not as good as the 11s

wet weather - haven't tried. don't intend too =)

corners - smoother & to me seems faster?

maybe it's cos of the semi slick design. tend to tear if you push it. =D just imagine...

overall - better in corners. reasonable & very balanced wear.

sadly, they improved it for better mileage that the middle portion lacks that " sticky glue-eee " feel... ='(

maybe it's more suited for track riding? hey, i may be wrong ah. just my personal thoughts.

but i don't think i'll get it again.. will go back to the 11s.

not saying it's not good or what but at the end of the day it just boils down to individuals liking.

oh btw not sure how much air pressure was in it..

any reccomendations?

i used to pump 265 for my rear during my Alpha 11 days..

which lasted me for 5 mths =D

( 5 mths and a few days... reason was because i wanted to try Alpha 12 )

Hey bro, ver S only can fit 150 for rear and it's the max it will go.. Don't try going for 160..

I ever had my VerS hooked up with IRC SP-10 120/160. They are a superb fit and I always tend to scrape my footpegs when leaning into corners. But bear in mind, tyre pressure has got to be slightly higher than usual as you'll be using a bigger sized tyre.

For the Strada's I had, good in wet and dry but the curve profile of the tyre isn't like my M3s which stretch more to the sides. I slipped and overshot the tyres during corners a few times but luckily I didn't fall. So now must relax a bit on my riding style.

You can try the Pirelli Diablo Strada, Bridgestone BT021... They are good and lasting touring tyres.

BT090 is actually a sporty biased tyre. More for recreational track use or sporty ride. Very grippy but at the expense of faster wear rate due to its soft compound rubber. And its relatively cheap. Source around for sport-touring/touring tyres and they will last you well. Maintain proper tyre pressure and the wear rate throughout the curve profile would be good. I would recommend 1)Pirelli Diablo Strada; 2)Metzeler Sportec M3; 3) Bridgestone BT020.

Went to my mechanic earlier and he is suggesting I go with a set of Metzeler M5 Sportec. Anybody used Metzeler M5 on their CB400 and if so would you recommend them?
