I need the reviews of guys who have used michelin pilot power and metzeler m5. The m5 is said to be a road touring tyre but it seems to me that the rate of wearing out is faster than my old pilot power. I would be interested to use the pilot road 3 next if the price is below 350 though. 425 for them is like almost class 2 price. Anyone sharing the same sentiments?

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

You could try Pilot Road 3. Anyway, this tyre has more grip and more threads to purge out water during rain compared to M5. Less curvier compared to Battalax 090. :) If you are looking to save some money in the long run, this is a bang for buck tyre.

my friend told Pilot Road 2 is better than Pilot Road 3. he said the grap is better now i very blur dont know which 1 to get? any 1 use road 2 n 3 before any diffen. other than the threads to purge out water during rain. how much is road 2 now?

Pilot road 3 has more threads than pilot road 2. Generally, more threads allows water to flow out of your tyres during your ride. How can PR2 be better?

You might wanna see this,

You might wanna consider Sportec M5.

Check out UM threads for the price.

use before diablo strada and m3. both not bad and value for money. if you want something better you can go for pilot road 3 or Angel St

Hi guys,

1) Anyone gt any experiences with Pirelli diablo rosso 2? Hows the mileage(wear off) and wet grip? Suitable for daily commuting?

2) Comparing this to M5. which one your think is better?

it depends on what you are looking for. race tyres have no thread to dissipate water at all. is it worse than pilot road 3? for wet road, yeah you might be right. but for dry road definitely race tyres are better.

of cause the thread patterns play a part too.

that being said, i have not used both PR2 and PR3.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
