Has any of you guys fixed alarm on a cb400 before? DIY, i mean.

I was thinking of doing DIY if it's easy enough. Dun need the remote start. Just the normal alarm function will do. If you guys can tell me where to unscrew and connect, then i think i can try myself..

Newbie here.. so need help from u guys.. Thanks in advance! Anyway, i'm using a Ver S.

I see...

So your alarm unit is basically linked to battery and nothing else right? Think i'll try that first temporarily... Thanks!

So does anyone knows which part of the s4 i have to strip to find the signal light wires?

Just got the bike, basically know nuts about it.

It wouldn't be as sensitive then...

Anyway, i need the range btw remote and alarm unit... Will see how it goes. If no problems with batt, then will continue using it, otherwise, must look for alternatives...

So far, any of u fixed an alarm with S4 and got issues with bike after installation?

elf remote start is not recommended for all bikes not just s4.....my friend lost a CDI on a GSXR1100 some years back... btw remote start will not work with certain Honda bikes with HISS.
