Esso 5000 balances power and economy after trying out so many brands and rating. Minimum is 91 based on the manual. =)

I got my 37.4km/L lately after hovering at 32km/L. =)

Achieved it by removing top box, added knn filter, retuned the carburator and my gear dragging habits.

V power is damages the wallet.

Remember to check that the fuel c0ck is in the ON position each time you refuel. If the c0ck is left in RES position, you may run out of fuel with no reserve.

something made me wanna try something out, so i went ahead and pumped esso synergy 5000 into my tank of vpower. i pumped approx 5 litres and the tank was about 3/4 full.

The thing is, although vpower gave my engine alot more oomph, it is quite rough on the engine meaning once i hit certain rpm, the vibrations will come. now with this mix of esso 5000 and v power, the feel of the power is still maintained but it is so much smoother, with much less vibrations. esso 5000 and vpower i think goes well mixed.

anybody tried any other petrol cocktail?

having pumped my tank with M'sian petrol for the 1st time ever during the lasting outing with the knights, im amazed how much cheaper it is compared to local petrol. M'sian vpower at RM2.25/litre... that is even cheaper than local diesel... boo...

if only i stay in woodlands or jurong, i will be going in and out of M'sia for my petrol frequently. damn, why singapore price the petrol at such high prices i wonder...

its not that singapore petrol is expensive... its just that malaysian government like to subsidise our petrol... :cheeky:

usually I use 11 litres of malaysian petrol and 3 litres of singapore petrol a week... save your money in the tough times!

an overly simplified version would be: meet up, go in, eat, pump, return, optional post pump activity... and lots of chit chat in between! :cheeky:
