Sorry I don't understand, this isn't a 21 plated bike nor is it a serialized (if at all) #21 bike, doesn't hold 21 litres of fuel nor engine oil and the rims diameter aren't 21" either. Rider also isn't 21 (although I wish I still was). Heh.

Wow ! Well built !

Thank you. Credit to WORX Motorsports.

next big thing? getting married ah?

Getting married is the easy part, housing the wife comfortably is another story. :)

Was there any engine enhancement work done during overhaul? Has the bike been tuned on dyno?

brand new cbr 2013 model now cost 19k for full cash.

8-)

Like I said, there will always be people like you comparing with new models, go bother bike shops with your brand new 19k.

Sorry to disappoint buddy, I wanted to keep the engine as original as possible and not have to shell out another few grand just to gain 1 or 2 hp. I'd rather shed some weight off my body for free! :) Bike has a fuel/ignition map(s) that was tuned and refined over the years by worx, dyno cannot replicate the conditions this bike will be operated in, so no need for that. Merry Christmas bud.

sure, let me know if you can do the same. No harm trying.

I just want to ask, what made you spent twice the amount for parts and labour(22k) for a bike you value at 11k?

just wondering...

Buy a race exhaust, need to do do something with the fueling, get an ecu, might as well get a harness along with it... the rest just snowballs. Good question though.

Nicely done up bike mate! I'm sure there will be a few interested parties eyeing this bike. However I've bought and sold heavily-modified cars & bikes over the years. And typical depreciation for parts is anywhere from 30-50%. So goodluck with your sale... Cheers!

up for ur salez... this bike is indeed only for track... why ppl prefer mod then getting a new bike cause ... modding give u a achievement and knowing ur bike better.

If you are only interested on stock / slight mod bike there are a few cbr which is abt 10-12k but if you are lazy jus get 1 who is well modded and live with it...

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

Seasons greetings everyone,

I'm slowly falling out of favour with riding and am looking forward to the next big thing in life - whatever it may be - so I am going to put my bike up for sale and hope that anyone who is looking for a bike of this calibre is interested.

So in a nutshell, we have a 2009 Konica Minolta Honda CBR600RR bought from the previous 1st owner who did 20,000 original KM on it. After takeover, the bike was laid up and subsequently put on an extreme make over by WORX Motorsports (whom I, maintain are the best in what they do) and eventually turned into what it is right now. I am a relatively new track rider and I did my best times and had the best fun on this bike. My bike history has been predominantly litre bikes but this bike definitely is the keeper for me -Unfortunately I'm NOT keeping it. Ha!

The bike has had a complete engine rebuild, since I bought it 400kms ago. All parts are original Honda parts, from bearings to seals to bushings to gaskets to anything you name it. So mileage with rebuilt engine = 400KM +/- 50KM

Parts List:

  • Original Honda engine parts - $2500
  • LeoVince CORSA SBK Titanium Full System - $2400
  • STM Slipper Clutch - $1400
  • ARP Rearsets - $650
  • Motoforza Race Fairing + Fasterners + Foam Seat - $1100
  • Ohlins Internal 30MM NIX Cartridge, sprung with a .9 spring - $1200
  • Ohlins Rear TTX spung to same weight as the fork - $1200
  • Tire Valves - $??
  • ISA sprockets F/R + 520 Chain - $500
  • Zero Gravity Corsa Screen - $185
  • HRC ECU + HRC Harness + HRC Catch Tank - $2500
  • HM Quickshifter for HRC ECU and Harness - $800
  • Aluminium Front fairing stay + Carbon ram air duct - $450
  • SAMCO Radiator Hoses with stainless clips - $400
  • Domino Quickthrottle - $300
  • RACE air filter (K&N or BMC - ask them) - $185
  • Motovation Sliders front, rear and frame - $300
  • Venhill Smoked black brake lines set - $280
  • Braking Disc Front + Rear + High temp RACE PADS - $1400
  • Engine oil + filter + pluigs + coolent - $280
  • Radiator Cap - $0 GIVE YOU FOR FREE LA
  • Spacers - $0 ALSO GIVE YOU FOR FREE LAH :)
  • Pit Lane limter switch - $50 (sorry $50 also not free :p)
  • Engine Labour - $1400
  • Suspension Labour - $300
  • PAIR Block off plates - $100
  • HM Dash w integrated GPS beacon - $1800
  • Fresh set of SC2 - $520

Total Parts AND Labour - $22,230

Ok, now for the bike:

Simple, 2009 Honda CBR600RR - $11,000 (The bike has all its stock parts, even the original pistons, gaskets, nuts and circlips if you prefer riding on a completely stock bike as from the factory =D)

Now, as most of you would have guessed, I am NOOOOOOOOT going to be parting the bike out because apart from the obvious -it's just sacrilege and the guys are WORX have better things to do than parting out a bike which they have so painstakingly built. So the process is simple:

I'm willing to take a 15% hit on parts and labour, thereby asking only 85% of $22,230 and + $11,000 for the bike.

Sale price would therefore be $29,895.5.

And honestly, I cannot give any care about what retorts cynics would say like... (OMG $30k for a 600CC bike etc etc) and honestly if you're even thinking of something along those lines then really, this bike isn't for you. Look away.

If you're even reading till the last line, then contact me at 8238 0806 and we can talk.

I shall attach the picture of this bike when I first had it. Its a little pointless to snap a picture of the bike as it is now -just picture a WHITE race fairing CBR with BLUE wheels -let your creativity flow.
