Wonder what uniform they would be wearing?

Black leathers with black helmet? Or white TP uniform? If white tp uniform then it would be easy to spot them also.

Wow! Now I know what bike to get when I have my Class 2... That will certainly fend off some cabbies and some reckless 4-wheelers off me bike (at night, that is...)!!!

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

I think you are right. If I'm not mistaken, these beauties are usually employed for VIP escort or something along there.

I wonder why Honda's STX 1300 are not used like in Britain. Both bikes seems similar in handling and cost of maintenance.

Someone mentioned in the other similar thread that the TP have lousy skills. Please, just because they skipped class 2B and 2A does not mean they do not have the skills. Those guys are well trained, much better than what the driving centres teach.

And the long hours they spent on the roads means that their riding experience easily surpassed many of us.

Show the cops some respect please...

BTW, I'm not a cop. I just happen to know some 'undercover' cops who are riders too.

hahaha.... i think i have to agree... experience wise i don dare to agree but skills wise they are surly there!! hahaha don mess with TP.... hahaha

they can learn for all they can, but experience still counts.. if you put valentino rossi straight to moto GP class, without going thru the junior classes, you think he will still be called 'the doctor'?? i don't think so.

and i didn't say TP have lousy skills, it's just facts that most of the buang cases are by pretty young TPs.. and they are the ones who get class 2 direct. UNLESS they are already into riding even before they enlist/sign-on.

if you don't start to handle from small cc bikes, how are you going to handle a big monster properly? you don't start running when you are a baby, don't you? you have to learn to crawl properly, before learning to walk, and finally you learn how to run.

oh! 1 more thing, you don't see any 'newbies' on their task force team. they are the elites of TP.. most of them are in their late 30s at minimum..

they are the ones who can really ride.. the legal "hell riders"..

they are not TPs, enough though they are under the TP plates. like what others mentioned before, they are mainly used for escort purposes.. they usually will just stay behind the escort vehicle and ask the vehicles behind to stay back..

and of course you will see a land rover rexton following too.

i do agree on this part. that's y we have classes for our bike license. but TPs all undergo a 2 month intensive course where they learn to handle the bike, manouvers and so forth ...and it also depends on who your 'cikgu' or trainer are .. :cheeky: . some impart far more skills that the norm training... :thumb:

those at the task force usually had already performed patrols in the patrol teams for some time and before they get into the task force team .. they'll have to undergo and pass another course. this one is quite a bit demanding from the 2 month course that all TP officers go through .. so their skills would be quite :thumb:

2 months of intensive training to learn how to handle big bull.. heh heh.. i think the track goers will smoke them jialat jialat 1 on 1.. skills can't be imparted, but techniques... yes, they can be imparted.. :)

that's why they are called the LAO JIAOS!!! see them you better guai guai.. you can hide, but you cannot run from them.. superb bike handling skills.. can almost be on par or even surpass those bike instructors at the driving schools.:dozed:
