hey guys, nice to know got thread for dna! was searching for one but now then find. i am looking for a new bike for personal use, need transport from work to school....been using my uncle's and any bike i could borrow, about time to get my own.

 

anyway deciding between planet and a dna. you guys got any complaints about the dna? any good points (besides looks lah ahahahaha tt's obvious)?

 

going to mah motors soon...no luck finding lobangs. u guys know any 2nd hand for sale cheap let me know can? thks

well i already got a sportbike and the reason to buy a scooter is just for transport and convenience.... wat for need to look so nice? get a sports bike to look nice and can go faster in corners somemore....:cheer:

wah ok...nice to noe that sum1 has a box then i wun b alone le.....hee....oso glad to noe tat the bike can kip my helmet....

hapi hapi....reali a v nice bike to mi lo....bt haf to wait till my bday thn can take the theory

Hehehe, for what need 3 helmets! Anyway, I also had the same problem Cagiva planet (Raptor 125) or this bike, I prefered the Cagiva as it was bigger, and had a manual gears, but it was impossible to find a really good condition one, and finding spare parts was going to be hell!

Anyway, uploading a picture of my DNA with the new rear suspension, thanks to spiderman, Javier, and Daniel for helping get my bike sorted out...

Anyone here actually managed to get a side-stand for their DNA's? Saw that the manual actually showed that there was a side-stand meant for the DNA, maybe I'll go down to the Piaggio service centre to check it out...

I've seen a bloke in ingapore with a sidestand fixed onto his DNA... Tot of getting it too.., But after awhile, kinda gave up the idea.. Cos realised it looks pretty kool with mainstand... ha.

 

Just like the olden days where the KTM-riders actually buy/fix mainstands onto their bikes (which came stock without it)... And the RXZs with ultra-tall main stands... Ha. the fad of having mainstands..

Toking abt sidestands I actually took out mine on my scoot...save some weight n actually having the sidestand dun really help when the stand cant be poperly secure n springs back wif a slight touch... like those of the cagiva mito n planet

My friend's ex DNA had a side stand from a old scrapped cagiva mito..

Maybe u guys can check the scrap yard out. Fixing up is not a problem. but will need some bending to the side stand as it is slightly longer.. If u really want, can say off part of the side stand... depending on how low u all want it to tilt..
