different redrev?

what does this advancer do? protect the engine from what? please explain...

 

so $50 is remove powercut and put the 3 way switch

then the "advacer" is $130?

and also will doing drAlis removal of power cut increase our bikes bhp in the 4th, 5th 6th gear like redrev?

 

i hav yet to try the true power of 53horse power. Cos i jz changed my tyre nia. In singapore road i try a little can few the difference lor. The advancer was recommended by dr ali. The details u nd 2 tok 2 him personally ba.

 

Wat i know fm reading was tt, once both powercut r remove the bike gt no limit le. Which means, nw it gt 53 horse, bypass 180km/h speed limit. Can ani time drag into red zone. Therefore u nd sum protection for yr engine. Unless for class 2 bike then no nd. Correct mi if i am wrong.

 

Fm wat i know the advancer protect the engine, increase accerlation, also decrease engine brake when speed is above 140km/h. Wat he told mi when my bike is done, he told mi to bcareful when riding my bike especially above 140km/h, engine brake wil b little cos the bike gt lot of torque & wil keep on going...

Regarding DR ali way of removing powercut and redrev...huummm.... I guess i perfer dr ali way as it is the tradional way. Which mean i nd nt depend on "redrev" as it is a device onli. Which mean device spoilt i wil hav 2 replace.

 

Hw often wiring wil spoilt unless u install sumtink incorrectly. Is all abt workmanship, if he do correctly yr bike wil b gd!

How to know it works(without wacking the bike,i'm not sure). Maybe have to rev the engine till it reach the rev limiter.

 

LIfespan?. Dont think it have. So far i'm using for almost a year. Still manage to clear meter during NSHW trips.

Dont think so. You might want to check with the non-vtec section,so far i only see red rev for vtec 1,2 and 3....

all Super4 got speed/power cut except for Project Big 1, because it's produced before the 180km/h speed limit rule..

 

IIRC, the speed limit rule was imposed somewhere in 1996-1998, all vehicles in JDM specs are limited to 180kph.. that's so for even the newest GTR and the JDM specs cars and bikes..

meaning cars and bikes built for export will be not be limited by this ruling..

 

eg: a PI Swift Sports (JDM spec) no matter how you mod, without removing the speed/power cut, you car will cut the power when it reaches 180kph..

whereas a Swift Sports from Ch*mp88n M0t0rs, will not have this speed/power cut as from what i heard is it's a UK spec..

 

All super4 are JDM models..

I still cant find a real spec 3 red rev.

I asked one of the bike shop at kaki bukit which is well known for carrying lots of products and they actually a distriburtor of a exhaust. But show me a red rev and tell me in my face that the one he pointed out to me is for spec 3, Which is NOT. I did not really say much to him and walk out. n dr.ali does d old skool method of fiddling with d wires to get rid of d power cut right? so y is dat wen dr ali does it u have to add dat advancer for d engine n for redrev u don't need?

redrev is plug and play. no fiddle/cutting of wires.

dr ali is fiddle and cut the wires. it is not safe as it may cos ur bike to short-circuit or worst engine kapoot..

 

both makes the rpm goes to 13,500. tested and proven on stationary. full-stop

 

imo, which is better?? >>> redrev is safer bet eventhough it cost $150

i always believe in one theory. If the product do not help then the company would not spend so much time and $$ on it. Actually posh japan create quite a few diff red rev for a number of bikes. I believe in japan product then cutting wires...hehe

i got mine already, but sold it away as my current speedometer cannot install redrev as redrev suppose to plug and play in btw the speedometer.

just help installed a redrev on a spec1 recently.. tried revving it into red zone, but cant.. stuck at 12k.. one strange thing, when plugged in, the high beam is on.. maybe the redrev is spoilt?? maybe the owner can clarify here?

it's supposed to be installed in btw the speedometer.. somehow the speedo cut is in the meter, not ECU..

 

old skool method, i had tried.. still stuck at 177kph(mt digital speedo).. before the cutting of wires it's 179kph(clocked by GPS)..

Japan will always R&D on their products before pushing it to market.. they even had a RRP on each products to ensure that resellers dun sell it at high prices.. if i buy a Jap product i will always check the original price in yen and then convert to SGD..

POSH is the brand.. Redrev is the product.. Redrev is from Posh.. Redrev is available for S4 from Ver S onwards, as in the Super4 series, only PB1 is not limited by the powercut because is produced before the speedo limit law..

 

get someone with awell maintained PB1 to test top speed loh!
