anyway I don't think I will quit until health forbids me to.I know a family(neighbours), first dad used to ride ST11 and drives a Nissan Sunny, Son rides a Gixxer, daughter rides a CBR 150, wife relaxes in dad's car ;)

 

Now dad rides silverwing and drives sth else, son changed to what you're riding, daughter rides runner,wife still relaxes in car.

 

Son told me reason for changing is because he's getting married and which he did a month or 2 ago.

My story when riding, was rushing out to a meeting when I over-napped at night. Stopped at a traffic light behind a car(don't really squeeze much) saw that the car plate had a Liverpool logo instead of those Euro plates filled with stars"*****" at top left corner, text wrote " You'll never drive alone".

today while riding..

 

an evo 9 with a pretty chinese girl at the passenger seat wasted his petrol by charging towards the next junction, trying to challenge me. naturally, i just let the bugger charge on as i dont think i can stand a chance against his machine and petrol is precious these days. the bugger tried to beat the red light, almost got hit by an oncoming bus trying to turn right, which view was blocked by another bus trying to turn right. luckily the evo managed to swerve left to avoid the bus.

Today, rode my dad's chopper for fun. Was on the middle of the third lane. There was an old Lao-K riding on the middle of the fourth lane. Staggered, but same speed. This bloody MPV (Picnic) tried to squeeze in between both our bikes! KNN!

 

Gave him a hard stare and shook my head. Bugger then changed lane to the second lane abruptly and zoomed off. I wonder what they teach in driving schools nowadays. Or prolly he's a biker too? Heh.

Did not ride for the past 2 mornings. Had to work early, just before dawn, and that is when the temperatures are at the lowest hovering around minus 2 or 3 degrees C.

 

I love riding the bike but sometimes sanity needs to take over once in a while, so I drove to work instead.. heater on full blast.

 

Big difference arriving at work warm and toasty instead of half frozen numb with fingers that have a hard time straightening out. :giddy:

was inside my dad's car today. a ******* did not look out for my dad's car when my dad was going into the carpark. and my dad horned him. when i stare at him. he point the middle finger.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Yesterday after riding, was gonna walk away from my bike after parking, and saw a petite, slim lady rider straddling a FZ1 roll into the parking lot. I turned to take a second look and she did the same, obviously aware she got my attention. Haha... Ladies who can handle big bikes smoothly are a sight to behold... oOoOo....

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

saw a vespa rider with a pillion and a rear box, rear box had artificial flowers and some dinosaurs on it.Had a SG flag too..maybe thats how SG looked like Dinosaur years ago. :) it was at PIE exit to Jurong canal area.

His bike is always parked at the pavement in front of Jurong Junior College (B/438 Jurong West Ave 1). Haha! The dinosaurs glued to the rear box are a dead give-away!

today while riding, going up PIE from Ubi ave 1 there, saw 3 or 4 melayu bikers pushing their bikes againt traffic by the side with lights off along the bend.Feels dangerous to me, wonder why they did so.Wrong turn? together with a lady around 11+pm.
