Yup, tat is consider parking without parking lots. With coupon also can kena. I also kena at my house carpark even whn i ve my season parking. They show no mercy.

when parking lots full, i park other then parking lots, then kena $25, then i see some bikes park in lots also kena cos dun have coupons, they only kena $8, i got coupon i kena more cialat, then like that very unfair, should put more lots for bikes.

cannot appeal, cos indeed not parking inside the lot mah, so unfair, ppl no coupon park in lots while ppl wif coupons got no place to park. but i believe quite a number of us does that, haizzz, bo bian, not enough motorcycle lots, sometimes ppl issuing these summons also nv think for us riders, only know to do their job n meet quotas, they only know how to follow the rules. but sometimes they also bo bian, if nv summon, then ppl complain, if summon then we riders complain, there is no win win situation. sian

 

what they wan us to do, park far away at available lots n walk 15-20mins back to our destination???

Its not bcuz ppl complain, but if more tickets they issue then more is their commissions. Only some of them wil b abit considerate. I tink u can try to appeal. Juz state tat u cannot find any other parking lots, even whn u went to other car parks. Never try u wil never know.

If like tat try parking at the one behind heeren... Better to pay n get lot rather thn kena fine. I've given up trying my luck. Now always put coupon n try getting lot. :thumb:

Today while riding i was very pissed off with this particular mat rempit.

 

I dunno if it was a sp or kr.. but i tink sp.. white colour.. p plate.. D rider was a guy , with a pillion, another guy wearing pink color shirt.

 

So we were all lane splitting.. Jam started from amk exits there on CTE.. i was on d way to town.. AND i was going in between lane 1 and lane 2.. at ard 60-70km/hr.. not slow.. mind u.. for lane splitting.. its considered fast ok..

 

And suddenly i heard horning.. i tot sum car horning at sum1 else.. and i kept hearing d horn and i looked at my side mirror.. i saw dat guy tailgating me and horning at me..And i felt very pressurised coz both sides got cars.. usually if got space i alwys try to swerve a bit by turnin on d indicator to give way.. but today i cudnt coz it was heavy jam..so i sped up a bit and tried to find a little bit of space to let that f*Cker go..

 

Even though i give way to him, i was pissed.. And wats more interesting is, d min he overtook me.. he sped.. and within 100m.. ther was a car changing lane and he had to brake.. deep inside i was prayin that nothin will happen since he had a pillion.. (though i was so pissed)..and he continued speeding after dat.. and started tailgating another bike with a pillion(gal).. and den i lost sight of him..

 

Seriously, i tot we riders shud help each other on d road, or atleast be in good terms with each other.. esp in situations wher ther r jams and s o on.. and no matter wat i try nt to use my horn.. but yet that basket keep horning at me like i was at fault.. does he want to ride at 120km/hr while lane splitting? When we were aredi approaching a speed camera..

 

I seriously dunno wat these riders are thinking.. but they really spoil my day.. If i ever see him again, i will just horn so loud n continuously..i hope he sent his pillion hope safely.. coz im worried for d pillion more than that rider.. Riders like him shud be put off the road.. I think he came out of his mum's tummy in 5 mnths instead of 9 mnths.. basket.. !!

This mite b youngsters tat juz got a bike n showing off. It is common thing with youngsters. Nowadays kid can afford to buy a bike while working. If i were u, i'll even slower down my bike. Make them really pissed off. I tink its bcuz u r a gal tat they wan to bully.

Dun know if anyone injured anot, was travelling along opp direction, but saw TP there already directing traffic... Car must be travelling at high speed..

No matter how late u r , i dun see d need for u to rush, esp when lane splitting (wah..i learnt a new term from u all) on the road.. lane splitting aredi sumthing dangerous.. still wanna ride fast summore.. Dun compromise ur safety on d road.. Life more important or speeding to rush for work/school?

 

heyy..its nt tt some ppl squeeze faster than u means they driving dangerously leh! some riders may have more confidence n skill n experience.. if they really speeding lyk crazy while lane splitting then tts their problem!! but frm wad u say, it seems to me tt u encounter many riders goin faster than u while lane splitting in between lane 1 n 2..which i tink its cos u're goin slower than them tts all..if u r goin at tt speed whyy dun u squeeze between lanes 2 n 3?? n let those hu can squeeze faster than u use lanes 1 n 2 cos tts wad e lanes 1 n 2 r for rite?

I dun tink 60-70km/hr lane splitting is too slow man...depends on the road conditions also lah.

Confidence and experience cant save anyone when they are doing 60-70 sanwiched between cars when one of the jokers decide to suddenly turn out w/o signalling.

 

When in a jam with cars all ard you, I dun tink the cars would let you change your lane splitting from lane 1-2 to 2-3. Many Singapore cars dun give way.

Most riders I encountered will give way when they see a faster bike coming up from behind.

But then they must have a slot for them to move out of the way in the first place.

 

I agree with you that it is downright frustrating when someone is lane splitting very slowly with no bikes in front of them and simply refused to give way.

I alwys try my best to be a courteous rider on d road.. Like i said i alwys try to give way when i see faster bikes, esp those big bikes coz i noe their bike can get heated up fast.. its jus dat yest d situation i was in, it was hard to give way for quite some distance coz there were cars on both sides very close and i cudnt find even a tiny emply spot.. thats why i had to go further down to give way..

 

Its just dat , that impatient basket was so impatient that he had to horn so much to piss ppl off.. if other riders, i tink after get horned, if their ego plays a part, they wudnt even bother to give way to sucha clown.

 

If u r in a rush to go sumwher its ok, but i dun see any reason for u to be impatient on d road.. esp when ur life is involved.. think abt it. Every1 is in a rush to go everywhere.. but sometimes its important to exercise some patience on the road..!

Bro, in a very tight jam with vehicles driving at almost to a stop, 70km/h is fast alrdy. All it takes is one car to suddenly change into ur lane then u r done cuz u ve little distance to brake on time.

If vehicles r going at higher speed the it is ok to ride more then 70km/h.

And u noe why we lane split between lane 1 n 2 and not between 2 and 3..?

 

Coz lane three got heavy vehicles and buses.. and its so hard to squeeze thru.. mite as well stay behind d bus and get caught in d jam.. dats why we lane split between lane 1 and 2.. And one more thing.. wen squeezing between lane 2 and lane 3.. many a times i see those vehicles changing lane more often to exit.. coz expressway exits are constructed on the left side.. So every1 wen wanna move out they change lane.. and again its hard for us...

 

We r sorry, if some of us slow riders take up ur space and waste ur "PRECIOUS" time and block ur view (when u r speeding) , while lane splittin between lane 1 and 2.. its not we love doing it.. we do it coz we got no choice..

 

FYI, ive been lane splitting between lane 2 and 3 for d first 1 yr of riding life.. and it really sucks.. dats why ive started to lane split between lane 1 and 2.. and of coz being courteous and thoughtful to others, i alwys try my best to find a empty gap to give way wen there are bikes behind me, esp big bikes..

 

And so far, all the riders have been understanding, even those on big bikes.. and they go behind me patiently.. Even wen im riding btwn 60-70(wich is considered fast ok?) ..its jus dat somtimes its hard for me to swerve n give way coz too many cars around.. and i do feel guilty.. but i will feel better when i finally manage to give way to them.. =)

 

But seriously, that guy yest, i can nv forget him for my entire life for horning at me like that.. He really made me very pissed off sia.

car was a porsche boxster. skidded and flipped. i my guess is his speed was ard 150kph. hope both driver and his passenger is ok. he was driving very very recklessly though.

sorry but splitting at 60-70kph during morning peak hours traffic between lane 1 and 2 is not considered fast at all. pls split between lane 2-3. i would also tailgate and try to overtake if i were behind u.
