Yesterday, was riding towards Tuas checkpoint on AYE, cruising at 95 KMH on the centre lane. Along comes this MPV, closes up to my rear as though he wanted to kiss it. Had 2 mirrorful of the vehicle.

Thought what the hell is he trying to do... right lane is empty for him to overtake if he wanted to.. but he just kept tailgating me.

Touched my brakes a few times to indicate to him that he is too close for comfort... still tailgate. So I blip the brakes a few times and then started to go hard on it... slowing down to 70 KMH all the time watching him and ready to gun the throttle if he failed to slow down too.

Thankfully he did and then as I picked up speed again... he followed this time a safe distance behind.

Wonder why got this type of boh liao drivers on the road. :nono:

haha try the infamous upp bt timah rd then, widening for over 2 yrs now still not finish, super bendy and bumpy. lane merger & all, mpvs forget out of lane when they take the many bends and i learnt my lesson to stay further away though i may be in the next lane. stupid big cars hate em esp on these rds cos certain parts r only 2 lanes :weep:

not as bumpy as holland road, left most lane, the part where it connects to the left slip lane into holland village. 5 or 6 pavement drainage covers ON THE ROAD, their underground connection to the pavement from the drainage cover is sticking out about 2cm from normal road flatness... so to avoid skidding and also to turn left into holland v... u have no choice but to cross those 5 to 6 humps on the road... even travelling at 40 - 50 km/h also not slow enuf, plus all those cars who dun give a damn and still tailgate u... super dangerous...

got an incidents to report today... hrmph..

Yesterday afternoon (12plus sunny day), i was waiting at the U-Turn at bedok MRT. The main road is quite conjested, thus have to station there to wait. Then there is one car (SCX1324Y) drive in to the U-turn later, the driver seem to be in hurry that he kept inching forward. Until I notice that he is very near me on my left, scare that my leg got rode over i move my leg abit more to my bike side stand ( i cant move my bike anymore, very near to kerp ) but suddenly the driver just inched towards me and his tyre just got on top of my left foot.

Wow in pain and in shock, that I quickly using my hand to bang on his front boot to move back, but he just wave at me smiling inside his car. FXXk my left foot still under his right side front tyre yet still can smile and wave hi at me... about 10sec or more then he moved back.. first thing he got out of his car is 'sorry i did not see your bike.. i thought u have moved off already' etc.. and by then i have got off my bike myself.. so susprised that i still can stand and walk, all thanks to my high cut leather shoe..

Damn my bike is CBR400RR, and he can said he cant see me and my bike station there at the right side of the U-turn.

W/o saying more, i just called 999 myself and asked for an ambulance too. Cant just assume my leg is ok even i can walk...

All these caused me so much time, trouble (Go Hosp., report to TP HQ & IDAC, go TP pound to collect my bike that kana toll back by TP, and my $$$ for the cab) and few days banned from riding on bike by family till recover..

This kind of driver is so blind sia... thus all of u just be more careful next time than me...

Overall today hav a nice ride...nt much of a prob juz tat as usual met into some female drivers...road hogging the central lane due to,chatting wif another lady in the vehicle...hai~! hav to waste the effort to overtake & tk the lead...

oso at one T junction doing right turn, this car suddenly dash across me closely frm behind...knn...gt to slow down & let him go 1st...lucky i'm nt those impulsive type if nt sure wun let him off easily...haha~! Safety oways come 1st~!

PS: No offence to ladies...juz tat driving & riding diff mah when comes to this condition... :cheeky:

Hee.....dunno why, cub riders tends to get shoved around.....

Last night I was exiting Woodlans Ave 2 from SLE, the direction from JB. Normally I would corner the Cup for all I care, but I slowed down as I have my wife as a pillon and 2 cars ahead of me. About 1/4 away from merging into Ave 2, this black or gunmetal Hyundai Tuscon start to squeeze me from my right......riding an underpowered cub with a pillon, I have no choice but to swerve, and treated him to a symphony of my horns. My God, it's a single lane, and what is he thinking??? I could only stare at him and horn.....if it's the other bike, I would do what Raptor did....speed up ahead of him and show him blinking rear lights.

At the junction ahead, he stopped behind 3 cars.....as I rode pass him, I looked at him and shake my head, while he look back at disgust, thinking why am I so petty. He never gesture any unhappiness with his hands, and I refrained myself so badly to show the finger :nono:

I always meet ppl trying to be funny when I'm on a Cub. Funny for him, fatal for me...... o_O

Dun aviod them.....you would end up staying home :cheeky:

Just be mindful of the things they MIGHT just do....like swerve in and out without checking blindspots, coming to a complete stop suddenly to pick up a customer, or a last minute "corner" as the customer told him to turn a tad too late.....

Try to mentally prepare what might and could happen around a cab and react fast. A high SA does help too. :thumb: Stay ahead or stay far behind.

Yeah n today... riding behind one mazda. Leaving bout 3 cars distance away from it. Travelling on 2nd lane at bout 80km/h.

Quite slow i should say, the road limit was 90km/h... but thinking... ride slowly lo... not rushing to anywhere.

following the car... then saw a hand swtiching on the car interior lights. Tot tat my lights are too bright so the driver switch on the interior light to balance off.

Then, saw the car's brake lights litted n off again... n again n again. At first thinking tat the driver don wanna stay close to the car infront... However, after some distance n from wat i observe... the car infront still got a distance away... so why keep on braking?

Getting Annoyed... open a little throttle... overtook the car around 95km/h. Past by the driver... its a LADY!!! CHATTING ON HER PHONE!!!

For the same scenario, I will reposition myself so that he will be blocked and can't creep up on my left (meaning occupying the entire lane) instead of making space for him by moving nearer to the kerb. It's a bit unfriendly, but I think it's necessary for your own safety.

Yeah you're right mann!!!

When im making a U turn... i don ride the way as many riders did... keep close to the kerbs. Cos that means you're making space for other riders or drivers. Which meaning dangerous. Imagine 2 vehicle turn at the same time... one KUKU rider/ driver turning angle wrong... then you'll be down. I don squeeze n get to the front of the U turn too, like wat mostly other riders did. I'll queue up behind cars or other bikes. I donno why... think its bcos i rather prevent than to whine/ swear/ curse when someting happens.

Feels like im praising myself here? Nono... u got me wrong... im jus trying to say what i've been doing n also to tell riders who doing all those dangerous stunts to stop it.

Can't really say I always keep in queue, but I do most of the time.

If it's peak hour, and I am way behind in the queue, and it'll be some thing like the 3rd green light or more before I can move up the queue and cross the junction, then I will consider moving to the front. Other than that I stick to the queue in everyday thoroughfare. To be fair to the drivers, if I occupy the whole lane, then I'll also queue up with the cars.

Early morning taxi driver give me stress.

Suddenly veer to into my path on the left lane just because the lady passenger wanted to stop. Never even check his mirror. Ended up with him nearly squeezing me into the kerb, lucky he stopped in time. I think the passenger warned him about my presence.

I just glared at him and he waved an apology.

Early morning, no mood to quarrel with anyone. Just wanted to reach work safely.

Have a safe Friday ride my brothers and sisters. Be extra wary when you are in close proximity to a taxi.

The weekend is coming.. time for me to hit PG track to release the tensions built up this week at work. Some more I have been such a good boy on the roads this week, riding within the speed limits and letting all the small bikes blow at me. Its time to misbehave on the track.

On the way back from PG, riding along CTE towards Ang Mo Kio.

Was on the middle lane when I noticed an ambulance coming fast on the outermost lane , likes flashing, siren screaming.

Saw a Toyota Corolla on my right, husband wife and kid, and the ambulance was closing in on him fast. I slowed down to give him space to move to the left to allow the ambulance to past.

But not this bastrad.... he sped up and started to tailgate and apply pressure on the car ahead. That slowed the ambulance down and this went on all the way to Ang Mo Kio.

I pray and hope that soon, this bastrad's mother, father, wife or kid will get involved in a life threatening accident whereby the life can only be saved by the doctors in the emergency ward. I hope the same thing happens to the ambulance carrying his dying loved ones to the hospital.

Typical stupid bastrad Singaporean driver. This type will also hog the overtaking lane on the NSH. These bastrds don't know that the outermost lane is THE OVERTAKING LANE!!!

Yup...even my wife commend to me that our local ppl dun really give much piority to emergency vehicles.....there's no strict restrictions nor penalties heard of from obstructing emergency vehicles rushing to places. Ppl only gave way to TP/ROV and Police cars with flashing lights, worrying for their dear wallets and license..... o_O

In the States, any second longer we hog an emergency vehicle, the loudspeaker will start to make noise with the officer screaming at ya, making everyone drivers around you look at you, wondering where's your moral values.....and a fine will soon due.
