today while riding back from my in laws' place after dinner, saw a downed bike along CTE -> city

ambulance, emas, LTA already at the scene so didnt stop to help

I was making a right turn on a 2 lane with right turning arrow, with a car on my right side.

Blardy hell the driver did a wide turning and cross into my lane.

I horn her and rode up to look at her.

Damn... She gave me the look like I horn her for nothing...

yesterday on PIE i also horned a lady who try to lane change right into me. gave her 3 horns, and as expected, she never back off, but continued forcing into my lane. i slow down, and saw her waving her hand in the car. its not a "sorry" wave. its a "WTF?!?!" wave. then i rode up to look at her, and zoom off. nowadays i use my horns more. Horny. hehe

Road has 3 lanes, was in middle, see car in front driving slowly, checked blindspot, changed lane, sped up. Last minute old fak changed lane without signal and best still, drove slow.

 

Tapped brakes and engine braking then swerved to filter, road was damp so cannot suka2 hard braking. Filtered ahead, another car suddenly changed lane but does a half fak one, stuck there, squeezed to his right behind him then all the way to the front of the pack.

 

At the front, got this black car, already inching forward, light haven't green yet. I'm sure he'll do something stupid, sure enough does a wide turn.

 

Sometimes I dunno why these drivers are on the road, no P-plate, that means should have enough experience to know the roads well enough, know where to position themselves whether want to turn or go straight. If wrong lane then LLST go do a god damned U-turn la instead of cutting through several lanes or find some turn further ahead.

yeah, i find it weird also. so long on the road, road knowledge still so bad? i agree la, sometimes they can bloody hell swerve over 3 lanes to make the exit when they can u turn at next exit. P plate. no p plate. just watch out lor. don't leave our safety in their hands.

 

discipline ourself. speaking of which, getting reckless in my riding. for a period after my accident i was safe. then as time went by, getting more and more impatient and reckless.

 

think i need to stop riding for few days and take bus. eat some sh!t first.

Also must beware of taxi drivers and vehicles with female drivers and friends who are focused on chit chatting

This happen to me few weeks ago. While riding on PIE heading to Orchard. Out of sudden, a monkey trying to cross the expressway. I was 50 metre(was at lane 1 at tht time) behind tht monkey. Tht monkey ran to lane 2 and stopped and very lucky by not getting hit by oncoming car. By then, i already past that monkey. Im glad tht i dont have to avoid tht monkey. I look behind thru the side mirror. The monkey ran back to the middle of the expressway.

 

Where it happen - At the speed camera before Eng Neo Exit.

 

Ride safely on the road and watch out for the wild animals near the forested area.

Today while riding to work, this Black Civic was trying to squeeze into this lane (you know those pedestrian crossing kind), fighting for space with a lorry. What made matters worse (for me) is that knowing he couldn't squeeze through, he just stopped in between the lorry leaving me stranded behind..

 

I gave him a horn and a "are you stupid" handsign , and he still had the cheek to stare ...

The safe thing to do would be to run over the monkey, if I were the car la. For bike, run over and risk losing control or avoid and risk other vehicles running you over.

 

Unless can see the monkey from far away la, if monkey suddenly dash across...bopian.

I parked my bike and went down to look at the engine oil level, as there was leakage from the filler cap and i wanted to ensure i have sufficent EO left, as i straighted the bike towards me i didnt notice the side stand went up and i proceeded to TRY and put Ricko on the side stand,

 

Next thing i know both ricko and myself was on the ground with a loud thud, i proceed to carry ricko by myself and it took a while lol, he was really heavy,

 

i tried to switch him on but i couldnt and there i was sweating like mad in my raincoat, anxiously trying to figure why couldn't switch him on, and then it hit me, while ricko is on the stand and if he is not in Neutral the starter switch wont work,

 

kicked it down to neutral and prayed while i pressed the starter switch and he roared to life,

 

Thank GOD!!
